DSaav13 Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 Hello all, I was wondering if anyone felt the same way I did regarding Superstar Heads. While I very much enjoy the feature and what it allows you to do, I was a bit disappointed, not only with the default characters available, but also with the DLC. There were some seriously puzzling omissions that are perfectly suited for this feature. The first is Rey Mysterio. You want to talk about someone who would have been perfect for Superstar Heads . . . Rey Mysterio would have been perfect. Before the lists were released, I was hoping Rey would be part of it, allowing me, and many others I'm sure, to create a WCW-style Mysterio—pre tattoos, with the cool tights. The second major omission was Brock Lesnar. We all know that Brock's MMA-style shorts are covered in sponsorship logos and having Brock's Superstar Head would have afforded us the opportunity to add these. I also felt that all the members of The Shield would have been excellent choices. Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, and Roman Reigns, in their Shield attires, can really only be used as members of the Shield in the game. Making them Superstar Heads would have allowed us to use them in other capacities. Being able to add some of Rollins' very cool NXT and ROH tights would have been cool. Also, fixing Roman Reigns' physique would be a huge plus. Some choices were puzzling, to say the least. Why give us the exact same Randy Orton face that's already in the game? Why not give us a clean shaven or Evolution era Randy? Why Sheamus? I truly doubt a large percentage of people were clamoring to customize Sheamus. Alberto Del Rio is another curious one, as he isn't all that mega popular, and has only ever used two sets of tights, both of which are in the game. The Miz is also an unnecessary addition. Antonio Cesaro and Ryback are good choices, because they've had a variety of attires since debuting. Unmasked Kane is also good, especially now that he is unmasked in WWE programming. Why not give us a clean shaven Cody Rhodes? What about some other guys who didn't make the cut? They gave us Roddy Piper and are giving us Mankind . . . why not Curtis Axel, using the Michael McGillicutty head from WWE '12? Why not give us the Usos superstar heads? How about Billy Gunn and Road Dogg? Epico and Primo? Trish? Cameron and Naomi? Tyson Kidd from WWE '12? Lex Luger from WWE '12? Arn Anderson from WWE '12? Ministry of Darkness Undertaker instead of one of long haired or current mohawk? RVD from SvR 2011? Hall/Razor and Nash/Diesel, allowing people to create their WCW invasion attires? Faarooq and Bradshaw? Even Bray Wyatt's Husky Harris look could have been useful. It would have been much more beneficial to us and would have added a much greater value to include heads that aren't already part of the game. Pro wrestling, unlike football, basketball, baseball, or any other major sport, has a great deal of variety in attires. Some guys change their tights often (Ryback, Punk, Ziggler, RVD, Mysterio, Jericho, Bryan, Warrior, Savage, etc.). Some guys keep the same look and attires for years (Austin, Rock, Undertaker, Piper, Hogan until the nWo). This feature has major potential, as, when done right, eliminates the need for attire DLC and allows gamers to always stay up-to-date on attires while giving us the chance to create better stables —example: we can put an nWo, Nexus, 4 Horsemen, or D-X shirt on anyone or put anyone in a suit and make them part of the Corporation— and tag teams—matching attires or entrance gear. It also allows us to make anyone a referee for special guest referee matches. Hopefully people complain about some sort of freezing issue, glitch, bug, or problem enough and 2K will give us at least Lesnar, Mysterio, the Usos, Axel, and maybe RVD and/or the New Age Outlaws as Superstar Heads. Likely not, but at least there are great possibilities for this in the future. Thoughts? Quote
HarlotEffect Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 Maybe they were just trying it out to see how it would work. Who knows maybe for the next game they might elaborate on it. Quote
COZZA SAID SO Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 Thats what i said HarlotEffect93. I said this was just a test platform to test the waters of the mode and next year they will have more of a variety. What is there 28 people to edit incl. DLC. Perhaps next year it will be 50 or even 30 but more relevant people who have use for the mode and aren't just there to fill a spot. Quote
iiAMJamari Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 I agree with you on this one , many more people should've been added to superstar heads like Rey Mysterio, Kofi Kingston, Antonio cesaro and I say this because there attires change alot. Hopefully in 2k15 we can have the ability to edit ANY superstar in superstar heads Quote

Shadow Storm Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 I was thinking that a few days ago. They're probably testing it out this year, next year I'd imagine we'll have the ability to use every superstar in the game. Quote
Caveman Gamer Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 I get this is a test run... they do that pretty much with every new feature... Created arenas was very bare bones the first year, then they added to it. But, if you were going to test run it, you should have used The Shield. Those are the guys most in need of being able to change their attires. You can't really put them anywhere else without them looking like a Big Boss Man cult. Quote

I hate hogan coming out with that abomination that's called a boa LOL and would have liked to have the Nash attire from 98 - 2000 with the nash lettering and red and white stripes on the side Quote
