datkido Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 So i completed my scott steiner no way out 2003 attire mod earlier but I can't add it as an alt attire. It works fine if i replace the current attire but the misc.pac in the dlc is different from the one in game (i'm editing the misc_dlc03.pac)... all hex values where the attire data should be are all 00's if i edit the data to match the pattern of attire data in the normal misc.pac then the game freezes. If anyone successfully adds alt attires to DLC please share. Quote

Judders Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Could you not use the method you use to inject WWE12 and 13 models into the game? Rather than have them as DLC, just import the models into the game. I know nothing about this stuff, but that would then allow for alt attires, would it not? Quote

Yeah you could, but then you would be replacing some1 and that defies the point of DLC which is to add new content. Personally I don't like replacing characters but you could if you really wanted to Quote
Judders Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 That's a fair point, but what if they were added in the DLC project? Quote

And you would loose the winning animations, the call names and during the match the commentators would refers to them as someone else. By the way, is there a way to inject/replace winning animations from WWE13? Quote
tekken57 Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 (edited) You can load the extra pach files in another pac. I don't usually advocate this as it's very confusing to work with and nightmare when you need to share your file with someone else. e.g. You can inject the alternate Rock attires in the Stone Cold pac. As long as the attires are named correctly, they will load. i.e. Rock is 100 and Stone Cold is 101. Your pac can have 10102, 10012, 10022, 10032, etc The last three are the Rocks alt attires. DRAVEN Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 you can do what myself and brienj did with justin Gabriel in one of the past games and just add them to the games ch folder and add the arc data to the end of the list.. as well as update the h files and misc I believe, and they worked for me.. so say for example DLC101.pac you rename it to ch101.pac then do the updates Quote

I think I would find this method easiest... Quick question though, to use the alt attire do you select the rock or Steiner? Quote
bugsyboy Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 Will it be possible to mod one of Steiner alt attire made in superstar threads , i mean the files has to be somewhere Quote
datkido Posted November 16, 2013 Author Posted November 16, 2013 Will it be possible to mod one of Steiner alt attire made in superstar threads , i mean the files has to be somewhere I don't think so superstar threads data is in the ch pac file... it doesn't create separate files for threads, my guess is it just logs the color changes you make. Justin Gabriel pac. Inject the Steiner pach into the pac. (00038212) And you update the arc files (I would do it in the DLC arcs, but I might be wrong) Then, you must need to edit the misc to add the attire numbers for Steiner. Quote

Really nice workaround bro, difficult to share the pac with the attires but nonetheless really interesting. How Does that it works with dlc? I mean adding Steiners or Nash attire into, let say, Austin pac? How can we do that if we can't edit the DLC Misc? The game won't know they have extra attires...
