JESSus Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 Hey there, My name is Jess. I'm brand new to modding. Don't mean to ask questions that confirm me as a total noob. But I was wondering, is there anyway to put some of the mods under the Saves area in the upper left hand corner, just for noobs like me that don't know how to download PS3 mods or the software required to download, etc etc. Sorry if that's a stupid question, I'm just eager to get some of these WWE2K14 mods but don't have the slightest clue how to. ~J Quote
OverTheEdge Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 Not a stupid question at all--everyone starts somewhere. However, what you're asking isn't possible, as mods aren't done through the save files like CAWs or anything else made from the Creation Suite. In the case of mods, it's the actual game files on the disc that are being edited, which can only be done with a modded console--at least as far as being able to use them goes. Quote
JESSus Posted November 14, 2013 Author Posted November 14, 2013 Would anyone be kind enough to give me a tutorial on how to mod my PS3 and the things that go along with it in order to use some of these amazing mods? Quote
Piper Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 whats your firmware on your ps3? the firmware you need to be on is 3.55 & from there you can have custom firmware on your ps3. Look it up on youtube or google Quote
UndertakerWLF Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 If your on a firmware 3.55 and lower you will be able to install custom firmware, if youn have anything higher than 3.55 you will need your PS3 to be hardware flashed. If you have a new superslim model you will need an ODE device or similair Quote
JESSus Posted November 14, 2013 Author Posted November 14, 2013 Mine is Version 4.50 What must I do next? Quote
JESSus Posted November 14, 2013 Author Posted November 14, 2013 By the way I'm super escited to learn how to download these PS3 mods and will super appareciate any help anyone is gracious enough to give me Quote
UndertakerWLF Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 Do you have a Fat mdoel PS3, Slim PS3 or Super Slim PS3? Fat models and Slims will need hardware flashing (if it needs flashing you will need to get soeone to do it or if you knowlegeable you could do it yourself) I believe the superslims need an ODE. UndertakerWLF Posted November 16, 2013 Posted November 16, 2013 You will need to get it flashed to downgrade it, I would run a google search and see what comes up for downgrading a slim PS3. Quote
