losing interest in wwe 2k14

Not got anything against the people who like the game, but I'm so bored of this game, rivalry manager is a major let down, I don't want to see my caw face the same dude in a major long feud with only a few a matches against different opponents, as I've mentioned in the past, I like to play the game in the form of a career mode by taking my caw to the top, but how do I make this game interesting, I'm not a fan of booking my own matches, I much prefer universe mode doing the nitty gritty for me in that sense, I've turned off automatic rivals and that doesn't make things any better, so is there anyway to make the game interesting again?

Yeah I was just letting universe do the whole thing and playing the pre booked matches, although I've new realised the method is more towards people that like to book their own feuds

Me too man, I feel same way losing lot interest, lot it is do with them taking out stuff like custom entrance video

actually i prefer career mode too.

BUT MAN 2K14 is still awesome for me at least.

the onl boring thing in the game is the caw mode because it is the same as 13 if they just added 1 more hairstyle it could've been better in my eyes.

Agreed Chris, and as mentioned if people are loving the game then props to them, I personally loved 13, but when you're constantly in the same match with the same guy there's no interest there, I'd even control my caws opponent at times to even things out in the feud, but I'm all for a real career mode and this year's universe mode doesn't cut it for me, really am gutted about it

I had force myself play it today, I turned off for now gonna play Rome Total War II.

I find that whilst yes it's incredibly boring, it's addictive, in my opinion not a lot of games break my need to play it. On my friends list 99% play 2K14, therefore games such as GTA V, Saint Rows 4 and older games have just become redundant. For me CAW mode was a big disappointment, it should of been topped off, I've had more creative outlets eating, mushing and swirling ice cream. Once mod tools come out; I feel like it'll become a lot more fun, DLC too. I hope there's more stuff for us users that don't have JTAG's but I'd understand if nothing gets released. Bottom line, the magic's gone so I can't wait to spruce it up.

Well it looks like rivalry manager will stay, which I don't mind, just so long as other wrestlers are involved in the feuds would be awesome, hell even if you're in a one on one feud for 12 weeks, then at least have other wrestlers be involved (match wise) on a regular basis, and have the two feuding interfere in their opponents respective matches or taunt them before or after the match, and good god I can't stress this enough, add more depth to the stories

I can't say I'm losing interest at all. I'm having a blast with this game! I don't think I've played one bad match yet, they've all been awesome! And I guess it's worth mentioning, I haven't even jumped into Universe Mode yet, and still I'm having fun.

me 2 i said i prefer career mode but this game is cool also like u said i didn't jump to universe mode yet all i am doing now is creating caws and laying in the streak mode i am just waiting until my universe is 100% correct to start it

That's just not very logical, custom entrance vdeos as well as the ingame ones do not affect gameplay or a fun factor.

the game will still look better in my eyes lol, tbh i am feeling that i am making a wwe'13 caw which is what i hate in this game like i said only 1 good hairstyle could've changed the whole game in my eyes, that's my logic

Not just yet for me. The issues with CAA, unless patched, will more than likely cause me to lose interest sooner this go around. Played '13 regularly up until last June/July.

Dillon,Rowdy Roddy Piper and WCW President and nWo Co-Leader Eric Bischoff,WCW is Ready To Rock!!!!

same here, lol i have my wcw universe circumventing around 95 doing the whole giant and jimmy hart screwing hogan out of the title at halloween havoc 95 (if a dq happens the giant gets the title lol) then doing the 60 man battle royal (royal rumble) for the World title. I already have the giant heavily involved with hogan already. Universe booked a match between hulk hogan and macho (allies) after hogan won the match, hogan was celebrating with the title and the giant attacked him from behind and then whacked him with the belt! LOL I'm Loving it!

That's cool that you guys like it, it seems to be more fun for the people who aim to control every aspect of universe mode Inc playing most superstars matches, but there are people out there that also like to play the game in a career mode type way, by taking their caw to the top, which is what I love doing, but it's boring when you're locked in a feud with someone that you're facing umpteen times, that's my gripe, hopefully this will be addressed in next year's instalment of the series
