The ongoing community DLC project

I'm working on the movesets as we speak. And to be honest I definitely didn't take into account how much time this would take. I am still up for the task but if there's anyone that wouldnt mind splitting the load that would definitely speed things up. Like ill do 1-7 and he can do 8-14. If there's anyone that is willing to, and knows how to put a good, accurate moveset/entrance together. Please stand up :) If no one is up for it ill just probably end up doing it all myself though, no biggie.

 

Would it save time for someone with Live access to just go online and download these? If there is a specific creator (Righteous is very accurate) perhaps ask for permission to download and use his sets.

 

Also, when the time comes I can contribute to writing tutorials, as I have for past games. I assume editing the misc pac and other tasks will be a similar process as year's past, so I can start with sharing the foundational knowledge I have and quickly study up on any new procedures. That should be doable with the amount of time I have available to commit to moving this effort forward. 

 

And Tekken, I admire your patience and leadership in getting this organized and keeping the conversation civil and on task.

Slight problem, just realised I cant view or edit the xbox version of the WWE13 titantrons (changing to bik doesnt work)

 

Can anyone with a PS3 upload the following titantrons for me.

 

I need 50, 54, 56, 57, 124, 310, 311, 315, 332, 312, 313, 337, 338

dang so i'm 4 hours in and only got 2 moveset done. yeah i should have this done like saturday.

I dropped 10 bucks the other night at the strip club, yes her name was candy, $10 is a fair, shit i'll pay 15 cuz you deserve it man, can't wait to get my xbox in a couple of weeks, jtagged of course so i can start adding and modding i hope, not to get off topic but this is a just a suggestion, once the tutorials have been established, i am just suggesting, that all users watch this video , as an inspiration. because yes, you are awsome, you have given us something great. but for those who are new, like myself and others we can take this video to heart when it comes to reading all the tutorials on here and all the tips and advice which is priceless for those who wish and are modding. guide me, show me the path.. :)

@tekken57 if we add dlc etc play a match with gangrel would they say his name or no the announcers? I was curious about this and forgot to ask you.

@Twistedmisery666 The announcers don;t refer to the new wrestlers with any names at all.

There's no way to add the entrance name from the past games?

Finally I finished up 30YOWM mode, now I'll move over to modding!

 

Did you single out the moveset file Tekken?

 

Since moveset editing/hacking is something I'd like (to be able to avoid the stupid constraints Yukes put in each year), perhaps I could take a look at the files and see if I could come up with an editor of some sorts for those files?

hmmm.. didn't somebody say they ripped all the audio from wwe12-13 into a file and put it on a share? i will look for it. i'm pretty sure we can link the wrestlers to the announcers call list... simple programming.. just need to find out where the names are called from.. i think the string pac should hold a clue then we just search the sounds for the files link.. will check on this today at some point.

I don't know what the upper limit is but I have tested with 30 slots for now and it works. If there is an upper limit, we can then edit dlc 3, dlc4, etc to allow for extra slots.

 

I believe I reached a total limit of 110 on-disc DLC character slots with 27 slots per DLC pack for older games. Not sure if this is still the limit. This applied only to on-disc DLC though. The 30 slots you have reached, is that for just one single DLC pack; are you referring to the upper limit of the total overall amount possible or per pack?

That doesnt bother me too much, small price to pay for more wrestlers

The sounds are in a CPK file, what I now there are tools to open and extract that file,s but I never tried it, and you need to see the format of the files, I remeber that the programmers used a tool called Wwise, but I never worried at all to try to unpack and edit it.

 

There are better things to mod and if the callnames are off isn´t really a problem for me.

@nikethebike yes I found the movesets and coded an editor for the simple entrances. If you can figure out the actual move values, that would be awesome.

 

@qcawlity That's 30 for a single dlc pack. Haven't tried more than that as yet.

 

If we can add the sound files, it would be awesome. I'm sure the game associates the sound files to a slot somehow. Never looked at this before.

Tekken, what about the attributes for your DLC?

I can send you it today for all the wrestlers from your DLC in individual txt files.
