Chris2000 Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 I hope this doesn't sound like a dumb question & if it has already been answered, I Apologize. But when the DLC packs, such as your DLC 5 pack are created and released. Do you need to do anything to them or can they just be loaded onto the RGH/Jtag like the official packs are? You'll have to do some ground work to get the game to load the dlc. The method I am using will make the game think that dlc is on disc dlc. Once the dlc is added in this manner, modding the new pac files with alt attires, etc with be the same as modding one of the on disc pac files. I will explain when I release and get some people to help with tutorials. Those should answer any questions you guys have about the dlc. Once the groundwork is done once tho thats it? Like you have go thru the steps get it to think its disc dlc and then it'll load normally after that? Or do you have do steps each time you load game Quote

I understand that you guys are excited, but be patient, when I release the first dlc pack and tutorial, most of your questions will be answered. Let me answer some of the more pertinent questions: 1. I won't be charging for dlc packs, but you will need X-Packer 9 to apply the dlc pack. 2. Like I mentioned in the first thread, you will need some knowledge about modding to apply the dlc pack. X-Packer will assist in most instances but you will still need to know how to use a hex editor, resign/rehash saves, edit your arc files, ftp into your jtag, misc.pac, etc. If you don't know how to do this already, please read up on it in anticipation of the dlc. 3. Let me explain what I mean by dlc packs to clarify the works that needs to be done. The dlc pack will not be like the dlc packs which are released by 2k. It will be like the on-disc dlc. The game does not allow for adding additional dlc packs, so I am editing dlc pack2 to allow for extra slots to be unlocked. I don't know what the upper limit is but I have tested with 30 slots for now and it works. If there is an upper limit, we can then edit dlc 3, dlc4, etc to allow for extra slots. The dlc packs I am talking about involve the following for each new wrestler - Wrestler pac files (wwe 12 need to be fixed and tested. AI needs to be fixed) - Movesets - Renders - Abilities, attributes - Display names - Trons In the end there will be one big dlc pack as there will be a lot of common files to be used (arc, def, etc) but it's a mammoth task for one person to do. Hence I requested help. So you guys can decide wether you want to break it up into packs or one person works on all the wrestlers pac's, one on movesets, etc. 4. I have deliberately left out wrestlers who do not have slots assigned to them. Like I mentioned 2k14 does not have slots 50-99 assigned to them. It does however have up to 499 slots so there are plenty of slots to assign wrestlers for. For now to simply things I am focusing on adding wresters who have slots assigned to them as it is much easier to add renders, trons, arc values, etc. Later we will be using the remaing slots for guys who are not in wwe13 and wwe 12. Draven, bravebird, nzenski, etc have been working on some awesome TNA and WCW mods which we definitely need to have in the game as well. For my frist dlc pack (dlc 5). If someone can create these for me and send me a save file with movesets and entrances assigned to any wrestler, I can extract these and inject into the correct slots. 2. How many of those are on the disc? (Or are those the one you made)?. I don't have the game on my to look through the fiels and won't for a few days, I'd happily would like to assist with tutorials too if no-one else has done them by the time I'v learned it. Quote
