I didn't want to be "that guy", but I'm stumped...

This is my first post and I didn't want it to be a question.  So, first off great site.  A week ago I owned a retail 360 and a WWE 2K14 disc.  I stumbled onto this site, and now, I have a JTAG and Red Rooster's Warrior mods in the exact same game without the disc.  Good stuff here, guys. Now, as for the noob question...

As the title reads, I didn't want to be "that guy" who asked for help without looking around this site first and figuring out things on his own, especially with his first post ever.  Now, I have read all tutorials and everything is pretty simply laid out. I've learned a lot in a week.  Like I said above, I've added attires to the dummy pac with no problems.  I was trying to mess around with textures, but having trouble getting one thing working right.  I'm trying to extract PACH files from ch254.pac (Warrior).  Here is what I do...

1. I decompress the ch254.pac with xbdecompress - That works fine

2. I open uncompressed pac (ch254.pac.uncompress) into xpacker - I believe that works fine...here is a pic

3. Assuming everything is good, I proceed to extracting the pac.  I do and it saves 0002.pac

4. Again, thinking everything is legit, I press ctrl+3 and open the pach (0002.pac) that I just saved and this happens...

I don't know what I'm doing wrong either.  All the tutorials I've read seem to not have this problem.  I'm using xpacker 8.2.  If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated.

After uncompress the ch254.pac

Drag him to the hxd and replace on the header EPAC by EPK8  :)
