Y2K14 Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 (edited) As you guys make the perry Saturn could you please help me make right setting for him? You made him 92 and I think this too high. But I don't know what number to put him at? I think maybe 78-80 but would like your opinions. Thank youCompletely disagree. Saturn is a beast! A highflyer, a great technical wrestler with a lot of great suplexes, and excellent striker, a skilled submission wrestler, tough as old boots, hardcore credentials, accomplished tag team competitor = 92 Plus you know you can change it if you're not happy rightYes I know I can change it, I ask for advice of what more realalistic number? He not good like the big wrestlers Orton, Y2J, Rock, Undertaker, Bret Hart, Stone Cold, Triple H, Brock Lesnar. I agree Benoit be 92 but Perry Saturn never a 92 Wrestler. That's why I ask for help with more realistic number. Are you serious. Saturn was 1,000's times better than Orton will ever be. 92 is right on for him. There are very few complete wrestlers in the sport. He was 1 of them, and 1 of the best. Saturn 1000's Better Than The Randy Orton? This you believe? I change the Perry Saturn to 80 as this more realalistic all round for the game. Edited December 8, 2013 by Y2K14 Quote
Righteous Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 I don't believe it. I know it fam. It's a fact. In terms of wrestling, Orton couldn't lace Saturn's boot. An 80? Really? WOW. That is extremely low, and unrealistic. But, it's your game. Quote
Raddad88 Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Hey I know you made the best Perry Saturn CAW probably ever.... but imma bitch about his rating real quick. Quote
Shattered! Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 I've put Saturn at 83, only because I do my ratings in terms of what you would see on television. I like doing it that way. But I 10000% agree that Orton etc is not even close to Saturn in terms of ability. I only keep the ratings like that because that's just how I do it. Quote
Righteous Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 I always like 2 keep my ratings based off wrestling skill/ability. Makes for better matches IMO. Quote
Honor Me Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 No disrespect, but that kid sounds pretty young in his mentality. But like it was said above, it's his game. Quote

I only know the perry Saturn from WWF when in the radical team, he was never very good his matches boring, no exciting or good moves, no charisma... I always like the Benoit & Eddie & even Malenko they all very special in the wrestling ring. But Saturn very forgettable And at the end of radical team when they take eddie and benoit to be the main single wrestlers from the group The WWF no the perry saturn is no good and fans not liking him or his wrestling matches so they try to make him more likeable with silly gimmick with a mop. This worked for a month or two... But he still a very forgettable wrestler in the ring this why I confused when you say Orton or other wrestlers I name like Y2J not as good as Saturn. They been in 100+ good matches. Quote
Righteous Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 See, there's part of the problem. You only know Saturn from the end of The Radicalz. And you are basing your opinion off WWF Gimmicks. We are talkin about Saturn in terms of wrestling skill/ability. And saying Saturn is forgettable in ring is just crazy. You need 2 go back and watch Saturn's matches, and not let character/gimmicks cloud your view. Watch his matches for his wrestling, then you'll understand what we are talkin about. Quote
Storm of Sand Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 (edited) Trust me when I say, watch his stuff from ECW. It's gold and it shows he was a great wrestler to watch before WCW & WWE pretty much watered him down & turned him into a goofy jobber. I'd probably give him at the lowest an 86 & the highest a 90 and that's basing it from his time from ECW, WCW & The WWF/E. Edited December 8, 2013 by Storm of Sand Quote
Y2K14 Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Could you please suggest the great matches of the perry Saturn for to watch. Many Thanks Quote
NickBreaker Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Let's forget this nonsense, change it to whatever you want. It makes no difference to me, as long as the caw is liked. Back on topic, really looking forward to RVD Jeff and Booker uploads. Quote
Loo The Boss Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Jeff Jeff Jeff see how excited I am he is the only major caw I am missing in my universe since the early previews I been drooling for him its been a long wait he better come with a tna slot doubt it though Quote
Bennyboi04 Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 that RVD update looks awesome are you planning on adding his t-shirt as his entrance attire? Quote

Hell he held the us hardcore and cruiserweight titles in wcw all at the same time! Quote
prowrestling Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Saturn is a good wrestler, but nothing too different compared to other ECW superkick/moonsault prototypical wrestler. But he never made the big bucks because he was a shit Sports Entertainer. He should be thankful for his time in WCW and WWF for $$$$ So yes based on a WWE game and not a ECW or WCW game (cause those company fail. LOL) you can rate Saturn a 80. RVD is one of my favs, but although he wasn't great or even good on the mic. His in ring style summed up his personality and propelled him as a sports entertainer. Saturn had neither. Total Elimination = Saturn's Legacy Quote

But I rate Lance Storm much higher than Perry Saturn, Lance Storm is a great wrestler, very technically gifted, he lacked charisma but played to his advantage, remind very like the dean Malenko, I watch all the WWF perry Saturn matches when with the radical. I not impressed even before silly gimmick, you all say he better wrestler than the randy Orton & Y2J. Thats why i ask for a reference match to watch to see what i must be missing? I just don't think he ever a 92 rated wrestler that why I rate him the 80, the wrestler caw is very good, but the overall rating is unrealalistic. Quote
nCo2K15 Posted December 8, 2013 Author Posted December 8, 2013 Please stop the flaming guys. General chat about Perry Saturn's legacy can be discussed in PMs or in General Chat. It doesn't have anything to do with Nick's CAW for 2k14. Quote

I know i may be kinda biased since wcw has and always will be my life even though it's long gone (thanks alot vince for ruining it for a bunch of fans) but the fact of the matter is everything saturn did in wcw always interested me. I didn't see much ecw (original not the watered down version) so i can't really speak for that Quote

It doesn't have anything to do with Nick's CAW for 2k14. Alright. Let me get my last 1 in tho. These dudes talkin bout money and mic skills and sports entertainment. WE ARE TALKING ABOUT WRESTLING SKILL AND ABILITY. Huge difference. The rating is based off wrestling ability. Not how much money he made, not how good he was on the mic. And you say Lance Storm is a great wrestler, but Saturn isn't? That makes no sense. And as far as Saturn being a ECW superkick/moonsault prototypical wrestler (Storm and RVD fit that model more than Saturn)-- you need 2 check his moveset. Even the chain grapples in his caw moveset disprove that statement. So, to sum this up. We are discussing his rating. Ratings are gauged by in ring skill, ability, and moves. That's it. So judging by that, 88-92 is a fair aisle for Saturn. Quote
snyperstyle Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 to this arguement i will only add this, Saturn was an amazing talent, if you didnt like him you deserve to eat alot of dicks. On that note on to the next one Quote
TheHippopotomus Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 (edited) Yeah it all depends on how you do your ratings. By ability or in comparison to the in game rankings. Since he was a mid carder in wwe and WCW I would have his overall be around Kingston for WCW stats and Ryder for wwe stats. Anyhow, let's axe this convo here and start something in the general chat. Let's reserve this for more pressing matters. Like Malenko previews! Lol Edited December 9, 2013 by TheHippopotomus Quote
