best in the world
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-x_q3vMVanw I came across this while looking at different WWE2K14 related material and thought I'd share it. It is the SVR '07 trailer but notice the graphics for the game. Imagine if the future of WWE games looked like this in-game as well as cinematic! Even the commentary sounds better than what we have been getting the last 10+ years. If 2K overhauls the current system and starts a new engine for WWE2K15, I hope it resembles this. Even the crowd fighting for this looks amazing.

The funny thing about it you would expect them to be there with the graphics by now.
EndoeNova
That Kurt Angle didn't look all that. I don't care too much about graphics though, as long as the game play/features are good then i am

Bob_Van_Dam
That's not real gameplay so it's just buffed up CGI.

best in the world
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-x_q3vMVanw I came across this while looking at different WWE2K14 related material and thought I'd share it. It is the SVR '07 trailer but notice the graphics for the game. Imagine if the future of WWE games looked like this in-game as well as cinematic! Even the crowd fighting for this looks amazing. If you like that you should see this Intro to "Smackdown Just Bring It!" Now that's what WWE game should look like! That intro was beast. The funny thing about it you would expect them to be there with the graphics by now. Yeah that video kinda reminded me of the intro from Just Bring It. You would think that PS3/Xbox 360 would have graphics like those if PS2 supported those for their intro, right? FYI, to all those who claimed those models looked "off" or "cartoonish", those are 3D models in case you didn't notice. And although I will admit that those models aren't perfect, they are much closer to being more 3D accurate than the current ones, which ironically still look like the cartoonish ones that Yukes have been producing for the last 10 + years. If Yukes has had this technology, why have the graphics remained the same? All I am saying is that if 2K has more money than THQ had, we should be getting something like this, only MUCH better. Also, the fans in the crowd were 3D and not the kind found in previous titles all the way up to WWE2K14. Everything in that video from crowd fighting to the weapons[fluorescent light bulk Angle used on Cena, and Angle Slam thru table] breaking were all better than current gameplay. Even the commentary seemed amped up and more emotional than the same generic crap we have been getting ever since around the time of Just Bring It onward. I am hoping that if Yukes indeed has the type of technology that 2K will spend money and bring it to WWE2K15, even if it delays the game. Like I have said before, I'd wait upwards of 2 years for a new engine and total overhaul for WWE games to truly make this series uniquely 2K's. Making something along the lines of what was in this video would be a great step in that direction.
HarlotEffect
Well the textures in SVR 07 were better, they had seperate textures for each part. Hence why the faces look super awesome, then they had to make them smaller for the later games.
