(PS3) Importing Logos Like Last Year Unlikely...

First off, it's not impossible to hack the paint tool file on PS3. Let's just get that straight. It does require injecting into the pac file, and someone with a Jailbroken PS3 to fix it for you.

The bad news has to do with the way the game appears to save PT files this year.

Now as I'm sure most of you are aware, last year was a good year for PS3 and the importing of logos. We didn't require a fix from anyone, all that was needed was a downloaded logo from Community Creations to fix the file and give us the logos we'd imported. This year, this will not work.

You can put a hacked PT file in your save from last years game to test this out and see what I mean. If you go to create a logo, the game will tell you the file is damaged/corrupt and will not open. If you then go to download a logo from Community Creations, you can save to any of the 20 slots, and none of the imported logos show up. Once again, go to create a logo and it will still tell you that it is corrupt and will not open.

If you was to now go into CAA or CAW mode, and go to apply custom logo, you WILL see the logo you downloaded from Community Creations. If you was to restart WWE 2K14, go to Create a Logo, it will still be corrupt. However, if you go to CAA and CAW to apply a custom texture, the downloaded logo will now also be gone.

What does this mean? Well it would appear that the game is saving the downloaded logo to RAM to use, but will not save it to the PT file unless it's valid which the hacked one is not, it's corrupt. Once you turn off the system, the logo you've downloaded from CC is gone.

Unless we get some coding genius to make a work around, we are stuck with having to ask for people to fix our files for us, like the 360'ers have been doing for years.
