Mathayus Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 I have problems to update the arcs from some pach files. Normally it works witout problems but I tried to add a 4th attire for Edge using his WWE´13 model. It failed always with in ring pach file. Not with the entrance attire. Same to add the Cactus Jack and Dude Love pach files to the Mick Foley pac file. But with it is weird. If failed to update the arcs for every attire in 4x3.arc but only for cactus attire in the other arc file. Maybe with the 8.2 version it don´t happen. Quote
Red Rooster Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 (edited) It happens because the size for the previous attire ends in a character that makes the next pach file name incorrect for example when I tried to add wwe13 rey to 2k14 the uncompressed 2k14 rey file had a size that in the arc file ended with 0 so it made the 2nd attire file name look like 000012312 instead of 00012312 so Xpacker couldnt find it. You can manually edit the arc or.... I figured out a solution if you dont want to manually edit the arcs. Just add the pach you want to another another slot eg. if 000DUM02 is not working then add it to 000DUM03 as well then set an extra attire in the misc01_start.pac and set the attire at 000DUM02 as locked (instead of FF FF FF FF i put A2 A2 A2 A2). This way even though the attire in slot 000DUM02 would crash the game because the size and offset are wrong, it doesnt matter because the attire is locked so you cant accidentally select it anyway. Great idea! And thanks for explain the issue. I´ll try that later. That would be a better solution cause I never tried to edit the arc files manually and I would need a tuto or sometihng. EDIT: Worked perfect. Edited November 10, 2013 by Mathayus Quote
