I started up the game just now and it said that there's a patch that needs to be downloaded (1.01).

I will update this thread with more info as it's currently downloading.

it was probably for the dlc

I've just loaded it up on the 360 but there's nothing available, must just be on the PS3 at the moment.

Isn't 1 One Day Apart From PS3 To Xbox?

Seeing as nobody anywhere has mentioned anything about a patch, I'd suggest this isn't true...

if this turns out to be true, then a list of alterations included with the patch would be good. that's IF it has 'patched' anything at all..

I just downloaded the so call patch for WWE 2K14 on the PS3 today, and to me it seems like it fixed nothing. My create an arena mode still freezes my game. I personally think this patch is for the dlc, which is soo not cool. Everything else in the game works jus fine. Its just create an arena i dont  like. Its badly damaged. I even sent WWE games a tweet and they never responded. So yeah lol

I started up my ps3 and installed a patch as well.

told you people it was for dlc... SMH

Yeah there's a patch, whatever it's for, it corrupted my WWE 2K14 Save.   This happens every year, I swear.

It's cool...only stuff I'm really pissed about losing is my progress in the story mode, and some threads I customized. For the most part, I've recreated all the threads I had before, and grabbed all the CAWs, and arenas I had before.

yeah i haven't done much (on my main save anyway) i'm still waiting for someone to put out a better version of fandango and as far as my flash drive's save, that's wcw.. so i been converting alot.  I always pull that out of my 360 when i'm done playing lol

Isn't there a work around? This seems familiar from prior years...

It's only a prep patch to prepare the game for the DLC that comes out on tuesday and it's only for PS3 users. Hope to see a real patch soon though that fixes bugs and glitches.

Welll maybe they will release a REAL patch on tuesday. As that is when most games release a gameplay patch. I hate how shit fuq up in the game, and then they go silent on us. But i still have faith they'll fix the games issues or else people won't buy 2K15.

To Elaborate as i said 4 damn times already THIS IS NOT A PATCH.. DIRECTLY FROM THE HORSES MOUTH HIMSELF

Hey guys, just to preemptively cut down on confusion...What's being referred to here is NOT a patch, but rather an update, only on PS3, prepping things for next week's DLC. Just wanted to head off any "How come Xbox didn't get them? Where's the fix list?" type posts at the pass. Thanks! aubrey

The PS3 update was released within the last 24 hours, it is not a joke or lie. None of the issues I've had such as Daniel Bryan's voice-over being muted, and Justin Robert's not announcing title matches have not been fixed. I don't recall ever getting a patch just for DLC before. I'm not sure what this update did.

10:35PM - just an update, Michael Cole now randomly mentions Fandango and Big E in matches where they are not in (obviously because they are not yet available)

did you not read my above post? IT IS NOT A PATCH. The PS3 gets a DLC update on these games every year. So either this is your first WWE Game on the PS3 or you haven't been paying attention #AllICanSay

So there's a possibility this contains all the new dlc wrestlers (nwo)? Being hire large it is it would make sense. Then buying just unlocks them. Maybe it's their answer to people complaining about on disc dlc. Either way, it's weird eu PSN doesn't have it yet, or 360. I assume nWo would be available to everyone next week, not just US PS3 owners.

they only do that on ps3 because i think the file is larger on ps3 for some reason or another
