Newer than a noob

Hello community, I've read through the guides and tutorial links on this forum and am still left with questions. I definitely want to be able to upload the mods I'm seeing into my copy of 2K14 but have no idea where to start (alt. attires and arenas).

 

1. I have a PS3 Super Slim version with the latest firmware

 

2. I would like to be able to upload saves from people who have outstanding mods 

 

3. What are the steps to do #2 only? I'm not going to be making my own until I get over this part first (hopefully I can contribute and give back if I import my own textures)

 

I've never modded/jail-broken my PS3 before (only my phone). if that's involved in this process.

You will need a PS3 running CFW (Custom Firmware), I believe the superslims are nigh unhackable unless you get an ODE or something similar.

I have a 360+Wii also but my 360 is not modded so I pretty much just concentrate on the PS3, I was also one of the first if not the first to mod the PS3 thats also another reason why I stick with PS3 because I know it so well.

Where would I get this CFW? Once I try it, and let's say it works, what's the next step?

If your on the latest firmware which if memory recalls is 4.50 then you are slightly screwed, It's impossible to install a CFW on a retail machine with 4.50 OFW.

 

You will need to research into the CFW firmware side.

Hey JDawg search online for Transamgrafx.  They are developing a ps3 CFW 4.50 for people who already have OFW 4.50.  Should be out pretty soon.
