I need help adding attires to Ultimate Warrior

Hi, I'm pretty new to this modding stuff & I wanted to add Red Rooster's Ultimate Warrior attires. I follow all the steps leading into X-Packer which is where I'm struck at.

I d/l the dummy.pac & start injecting the the attires in each slot but once I hit  "Add additional attire data to arc file" I get this error saying the "PACH file 00025402.pac cannot be found in the arc"

Can anyone help me on why I'm getting this error? Thanks

So after you hit "Add additional attire data to arc file" are you pointing it to the plist360.arc file or plist360_3x4.arc? If so then Xpacker should create any Pach file entires for new Pach files. Either way 00025402 should be already there because it is the default pach for the Ultimate Warrior.

Yea

Yea when I hit the "Add additional attire to arc" button, I made sure I point it to the plist360.arc that I have save on my desktop & that when that error start popping up. I'm going to start from stratch  tonight to see if everything make sense from beginning to end. I also want to add Bugsyboy's Halloween Havoc attire as well. Do I have to do anything special to that pac file?

Ok so i manage to get X-packer to inject the attires & updated both arc files. I load up the game & I see that I can select different attires for him but once i select it, the game will freeze/locked up. I'm close to getting this to work but anybody could help me, I appreciate it.

I dont know what to tell you, when I set a new file name in Xpacker and then press Add additional Attire Data to Arc file it adds the new file name to the arc and sets the offset and size for me.

The only other way would be to input the data into the Arc file manually using a Hex editor.

X-Packer shows you what the offset and size are so it should be pretty easy for you to add them manually.

What version of Xpacker do you guys have?

I think you just need to edit the misc01_start.pac to make the game know how many attires there are. Here is what my warrior section of the misc01_start.pac  looks like

Misc_start01pac_zps898deb9e.png

The FE is the Hex value for 254 which is the warrior character ID the 09 is where I have set how many attires 4 bytes from there is a 10 to set the name for the attire then 4 bytes from there is FF FF FF FF to make sure the attire is unlocked.

Repeat for as many attires as you have and then save

To make it really easy for you, here is my misc_start01.pac, both arc files and ch254.pac with 9 attires for warrior (inc Bugsyboy's WCW one and my edited original one so you can do superstar threads without the chest paint).

Make sure you backup your files first just in case it all goes pear shaped.

EDIT:

I notice you left the misc01_start.pac uncompressed, I dont have to compressed it back together?
