AI still doesn't go to the top rope unless for finishers

I have played 3 weeks of universe and I still have yet to see the AI go and use diving moves unless its a finisher. I was really hoping THQ would have fixed this as all these new catch finishers are kinda useless.

Their solution was not to improve the diving AI, but to give you catapult finishers so you could still use the catching finishers even though the cpu doesn't seem aware there are diving moves in the game.  That being said, I have seen Justin Gabriel go to the top rope one time and not do a finisher, but I don't know if he had a finisher icon or not... don't remember.

ok I guess its only the high flyers that go up to the top rope

If you notice, they are also compensating for the fact the cpu doesn't know how to use the ropes by making moves like a moonsault from the corner position and from the ground position and Cesaro and Rhodes springboard moves switched to leaning against the rope moves.  Hopefully next gen we get actual logic windows where for each superstar, you can assign a value how often they go to the top rope, go outside the ring, use weapons, use submissions etc. It is one thing lacking from this series that will go a long way in making each superstar play differently.
