[Hypothetical] Announcing over Theme Songs

I was thinking about this the other day.  How many people actually use the commentary/Justin Roberts opening intros?

 

I was thinking about it... If you can turn the normal announcing off, and it's possible to take a superstar's custom theme, and have a voiceover artist do the announcing... it would play any time a superstar comes out to the ring.

 

Would this be something anyone would be interested in?

A stumbled upon a forum thread somewhere a couple of years ago which had WWF entrances with Fink doing the introductions for specific use in the way you've suggested - only problem (from my point of view) was that you'd also get the Fink intro after the match as well

Yeah I actually did this myself for shimmer athletes, they do the formal announcing in ring, so I recorded the announcement and merged it into the entrance music , sounds really good, only time it's annoying is when you win lol
