I never liked them, giving the game only 6/10 because "the punches are too fast and too weak" is idiotic, maybe we like that the punches are faster and weaker? Perhaps they should have someone that understands WWE TV review the game. Since it's built off the tv product. I'm all for somebody unfamiliar with the game series reviewing it for objective purposes, but when you have a game that is built off of a certain style product, you def need someone that understands it. It seems to be a bit more interested in comparison to past games, which is nice, and does point out that the non wrestlemania stuff doesn't seem to have received as much attention. (though, if universe mode works the way it's supposed to, that's a nice step up from the last game for me, at least). it also mentions how big a PITA that Rock/Cena match (apparently) is, so it seems fairly on the money in terms of having spent time with the game. best in the world Posted October 28, 2013 Share Posted October 28, 2013 I never pay attention to GameSpot, IGN, or most of the major game sites in terms of their reviews of WWE games because: 1}They don't know wrestling 2}They don't know wrestling games 3}Inferior games get much higher scores and have more issues than WWE games 4}They aren't fans of the product I'm sure there are many people who consider them worthy of reviewing, but as a fan of wrestling I don't put much stock into game sites and their faulty logic on what made the game suck. If these same reviewers had been playing these games since the original Smackdown game on Playstation, then I might be inclined to consider what they had to say. Otherwise, it is just some online nerd complaining about something he/she knows nothing about when they should stick to what they know.
