superstar heads...is er kinda pointless/redundant this year..

i get what they are trying to do, but if we already unlock like 30 hbk's and 88 cenas why would we need to create any more? They should have used the heads for other people not in the game like your JTGs or tyson kidd or other stars they didn't have time to include.. I really don't see a purpose for the heads they included as we already have more than enough alt attire for them. I thought goldberg was in the list also.. i made piper which was semi cool(no fabric for a good kilt tho). Just wish they put heads in for people from last year.. that would have made more sense than repeating the people you already give us mutliple attires for.

I'll get plenty of use out of it. CM Punk needs more attires, Chris Jericho needs more attires, hell, believe it or not John Cena needs more attires. One I'll be giving him specifically will be his WM 22 attire. It'll be very useful for me.

Exactly this. I'm this type of person, I'm not satisfied if a Superstar doesn't have accurate attire, and it's the greatest fun in the world for me trying to recreate them.

I don't need to have the game to know that Jericho doesn't have one up to date attire, nor does Punk. Maybe you just don't see it the way we do, that's fine. All I'm saying is I'll be getting plenty of use out of it.

Jericho doesn't need more attire? Maybe for you, maybe for you Superstar Heads is useless, but we certainly don't feel this way. It's the same with the difficulty of this game. Too easy? Well, possibly for you, not for us.

I think I woulda used it if it didnt eat into CAW slots, now I hear it does so I might just make a couple heads, it shouldnt take up CAW slots

well, if you're one of those guys who fills all his CAW slots in the first couple days with junk (not saying you are) then i can see why you wouldnt wanna eat into them. but there's 100 slots. i'm gonna allocate at-least 15 of them to Superstar Heads. there's so much i wanna do once that DLC is released. we've got so much more creative licence now

 

EDIT: anyone know if Superstar Head attires are uploadable?

Don't see how this feature is pointless. You can create old/new attires, a lot of which aren't in the game. Or maybe get creative and make custom attires. Another thing you can do is give referee attires to the people included in this mode so special referee matches feel more real. This mode may not be for everyone but I'll have plenty of use for this mode.

I suppose that's good in some ways. If you create a fantastic attire using imported textures (lord willing) then it's exclusive to yourself. But on the other hand, I got a real buzz out of uploading some of my creations this year. especially because of the hours i put into my textures.

100 slots is best thing about the game in my humble opinion, really awesome thing. Well it's like this, I had 2 profiles, one a hard drive, 48 guys and 30 guys on a usb, now I can combine them, so overall there'll be 80 fantasy CAW's in my fed

 

You might say still no problem, use the other 20 for heads? Well thing is I wanna put in Kelly Kelly, Axel, Jim Cornette as CAWs too and few TNA guys so I'll probably only have room for maybe 3 Superstar Heads, which is annoying, it'd prefered it used Superstar Threads slot 1 , 2 , 3 there than CAW slots

I'm going to be happy to get a decent stone cold morph in the game that can actually be announced properly.

I hate the stone cold morph. I just can't use it on the game. All those low morphs ruin the consistency of the universe caws.

I think I see the good sides of Superstar Heads. Ever since I've heard of that, I've had a hankering to make fantasy attire for Cena, just so that his attire doesn't look the same. On that note, I could also recreate his WM22, 23, and 27 attires. (I'm not really a Cena fan, though, but I respect him).

 

On the other hand, if we DO make CAWS with Superstar heads and can't upload them, then that mode is useless to me. Otherwise, I say fire away.

 

It would have been better if we were allowed to add hair to some of those heads so that we could get all sorts of combinations. But I suppose it's too late to look into that. But still...

Yeah I agree entirely. I'll be repackaging Cena into a heel for sure. Wish we could apply a superstar head to a caw though. Then we could upload/download bodies. Pipe dream!

Pointless/Redundant?? Ummmmm, gonna have 2 say NO! NO! NO!

It is a great feature that can only get better year after year. People that arent in the game- arent in the game for a reason (whatever the reason may be). So to put in their heads would really be "pointless", as they are not in the game for said reason. You gotta understand this is the 1st year for the feature. Cant expect it to be at 100% the 1st time out. Were you the best at a wrestling game the 1st time you played it? Ofcourse not. New implementations take time. If their are no improvements in say - 3-5 years, then there is plenty of reason 2 fuss.

This Feature is not pointless thanks to this feature you can kind of have a perfect Roddy Piper and once DLC comes out make Mankind an alt attire for Mick Foley

Guys I kinda get zhigges point... His wording was just wrong. The feature is GREAT and I've wanted it for a long time. But I think the point he was tryna make is the selection of heads aren't the best. He's right a lot of the heads already have shit loads of attires plus modders can create more. The feature would be amazing if they gave us heads of superstars they couldn't include like axel, and the Wyatt's but personally I'd say it's just good and a step in the right direction. I'll have fun playing with it though if we make it clear we would like them to use it as a way to give us superstars who came on the scene too late to make the roster and some legends they might do it, because at the end of the day they r still caws they dnt have to wry about us not buying the next years game if we can create characters they plan to include because caws will never be the same as actual models. But if we just accept it when we know it can b better they won't improve it.

Btw caws look GREAT this year I created Bray Wyatt to test the mode out, they have definitely increased the texture resolutions they're so much sharper. I guess they had to otherwise high res superstar heads on a low res caw body would've looked really bad.

I agree with the OP to put heads like Wyatt, Kidd, Hunico, Primo, Epico, RVD, Axel, etc. instead of guys who have 5 and 6 attires already. Doesn't bother me much because we have 100 slots for CAW but that would be better.

 

They could have released the roster, let the fans bitch about who isn't on and made their heads like they did for Roddy Piper lol
