My issue with hosting on free hosts has been that the links expire or get banned after a number of downloads. With X-Packer 8.1 there have been more than 12 000 downloads and as such it is banned from mediafire as I somehow broke their tos with the number of downloads. Last year dre sponsored a netload account for a year which keep all my links alive.
