Connor MacLeod Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 I just uncompressed Brock's pac and I extracted the only file 0003 and it only 2kb. I did the same with Rock's pac since I replaced it earlier & it had these files. 0001 6B 0022 And none of them can be opened in X-Packer, i'm wonder if it needs a different way of uncompressing them this year? the King Lives Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 either that or they blocked it from being modded Quote
tekken57 Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 Send me the file please. Also can you send me your save file, I want to see if the format has changed. Quote

UndertakerWLF Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 I wonder if this is the same as the PS3 version... Quote
Twistedmisery666™ Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 i uncompressed the misc.pac to see if its the same or not cant find "COS" to look to add alt attires this year ? Quote
El Guapo Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 (edited) I'm not much of a coder, but looking at the PACs I extracted from my copy I'd suggest the the files are just compressed differently - possibly for efficiency reasons Edited October 26, 2013 by Evil Jeff Quote
datkido Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 i wouldn't worry guys, you cant block a game from being modded, as long as we can access the files it can be modded. all they can do is change file formats and compression methods etc, once the new changes have been figured out we'll be able to mod to our heart's content... Titavius Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 Just a quick update from the Audio side of things.. I've managed to extract pretty much everything to WAV format. (loss-less quality) This is everything mind, from commentary, ring introductions, SFX and Music. I'll convert the music to mp3 when the extracting has finished. This is good if you want to replace in-game audio/ring introductions with ones from previous years as I think I might have finally found a method to rebuild them. Again, good if your importing a WWE '13 model, and would like his or her actual announcer Introduction. Quote

Thats one thing I want to do (Replace some in-game music with the ones they have/had) Quote
UndertakerWLF Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 I've been looking at the Rocks CH file and it isnt compressed like the 360 version, I have managed to extract the texture Quote
Miztah Raza Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 Screw all of you guys, with your blazing fast internet speeds. I'm stuck with buying pirated copies of the game after it's released lol. Quote

That'd be crazy if we could edit the in-game audio. Also, if you ever get the time, I would appreciate the ever-loving-hell out of it if you could toss those audio files my way. I don't necessarily need the themes, but the commentary, ring announcing, etc. would make my life a million times easier when it comes to working on the shows I do. With everything I compiled from '13, I've had to go into the game and manually record each sound clip as it happened. Quote

DRAVEN Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 open the PAC file in hex and change EPAC to EPK8 then xpacker will open it Quote
Prime8 Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 I'm having trouble finding EPAC in any of the PAC files. Do I need to decompress them somehow first? Sorry if this is a bit of a stupid question but I've not done any modding since 2010 so I'm a little rusty. Quote

I figured I was doing something wrong or forgetting something...like I said, it's been a while. Quote
