Source about new scenes in Story Designer also being talked about in the livestream? All I heard from Aubrey was just the new moves and new animations of old moves.

I watched this earlier this morning and I was impressed with all the additions.  I especially liked the addition of superstar heads and how you can use a model to change it and assign it to an existing WWE Superstar.  Also, the way you can give older looks to current WWE guys is amazing.  I especially liked seeing Taker's older looks from various Manias and Jericho's "Save Me" attire, not to mention his heel attire from his reign as WWE Undisputed Champion.  With all of these additions, 2K is moving in the right direction because being able to use existing heads in creation mode hasn't been in the games since the original Smackdown.  I am impressed with everything they did to make this game as stacked as it will be.

Not to mention we've been asking for it for years and kept getting the same excuse: wwe doesn't want their characters edited. Either 1. 2k reaches a compromise or 2. Thq told the wwegames team to lie about said excuse lol

These attires are pointless if the only head we get is short hair Jericho but you are right they are moving in the right direction because overall this look like the best wrestling game they ever did

I think 2K may be able to influence WWE on the gaming issues.  I have always thought the AKI N64 games were the best because you could change everything about a character, even if it meant totally changing an existing WWE Superstar.  I liked how you could change the details on the superstars from attires to faces themselves even complete with details changes like facial hair or hair styles.  I have to admit, it would be weird seeing The Rock face on Stone Cold or HHH's face on Kane.  Who knew the big red machine was secretly Triple H?  Guess that'll bring back the Katie Vick memories :D

I hate to steal a line from Jeffsdomain, but baby steps man!  I too wish they could make gigantic leaps with one game but the hard truth is that one game can change that much unless it is completely overhauled.  Which would probably delay it or make it a year behind in release.  Now I would be all for letting 2K have 2 calendar years before they release another WWE title to completely redo everything.  But I highly doubt WWE would let them do that, so we are stuck compromising with yearly updates.  As long as 2K is giving the honest effort to update and make major changes implementing them each year, then I'm sure we will all be satisfied with the outcome.

So They Showed The Full Caw Mode?

No. Just a small sample of what you could do with Superstar Heads.

Thanks I mean everyone was upset that championship editor was basically championship threads. I actually suggested to @rawfshowtime last year the idea to allow paint tool logos/regular logos to add to belts around this time last year after the mode was revealed so yeah babySteps. For those that don't know, rawfshowtime was a play tester at the wwegames play test this year so yeah always gonna be babySteps. Same with CAA caf and even universe

Totally agree.  It would be nice if 2K could work miracles and change things entirely with one game, but they are only human & people seem to forget that with totally unrealistic expectations.  I will be happy with each game as long as the glitch problems are gone and the games themselves are as accurate as 2K can make them.  So basically the opposite of THQ phoning it in each year.  As long as we are talking about CAF, I want to see more positions added to do a finisher from.  Not just corner, top rope, or front grapple but any conceivable position[even created submissions like Samoa Joe's finisher].  Also, I'd like to see Universe get more depth because usually we are stuck with the same cutscenes only with substituted superstars for whoever you are playing with.  In other words, character specific cutscenes that are unique to each person.  But baby steps, for sure.

Edited by best in the world

Waste of time...nothing that was shown was bad, in fact everything showed was awesome. But it's not like there was much shown, except for over-and-over replays of one and the same moves. The were approximately 15 moves shown in total includig Comebacks and OMGs, lol.
