Nice! I named a character by accident but you did it on purpose! :) I didn't think you could mod an arena? Maybe it was in the game and it's been so long no one really noticed? Or maybe it is photoshop to the rescue again!

Maybe who knows lol all I know is whenever we needed to use revenge over the wcw nitro game we used the superbrawl arena for thunder and just cut the entrances so the VHS wouldn't catch the superbrawl lettering lol

Nice!  Gotta improv sometimes

Yeah nitro was limited but we used it to have sting then on the nWo he tagged with hogan against flair/Luger half way thru the match he wouldn't tag hogan so the. We had hogan going (spliced to a 1v1 match) "I am hogan I'm the leader of the nWo and you will..." Bamm! Scorpion death drop, then spliced it to him tagging Luger who then tagged flair who put hogan in the figure four lol good times

Anyone remember the very late WCW set with the ramp that went over a pool and the ring was on a platform in the pool? I want that.

@Jeffsdomain:At least Hollywood got some payback then!  lol

As for the other reply from Dan: The best WCW game was without a doubt WCW/NWO Revenge on the n64.  It had all the better elements of the WCW/NWO World Tour but had many gameplay improvements that mirrored the greatness of what would come later with WWF WrestleMania 2000 & WWF No Mercy.  I also think WCW Mayhem was underrated.  It was a decent game aside from not enough stars on the roster, but EA did a nice job putting in enough jobbers for a quick beatdown in exhibition.  Ah, the good ole days of Kevin Nash beating the hell outta Norman Smiley :D

Yeah we had some good times redoing wcw I think the best part was liger having an interview with bischoff and Luger is like "sting knocked me off the apron once, I let it go... He did it again I said sting, it's on " lol cause we had fake sting attack Luger during his match with Scott Steiner and he swore up and down it was the real sting lol

Oh and I loved mayhem. I just despised backstage assault lol

It would be awesome to see that returns in WWE 2K 15 :) With the rants. I bet they could find some fans that can mimick the dead superstars.

LOL, like I said improv!  2K needs to have games where you can redo things with them and do whatever custom changes to any existing character.  I'd overwrite all the weird and stupid inclusions like Yoshi Tatsu and make Fandango in his place on the main roster!  I am surprised you liked Mayhem too, considering that most fans hated it and IGN gave it a bad score back in the day.  I'm definitely with ya on Backstage Assault though!  I hated that game because I liked the concept but the execution was completely awful and the gameplay/graphics sucked major ass!  EA rushed too quickly and had they taken their time and put more effort, BA could have been a great follow-up to Mayhem.

that was in 98 but pretty much the same set up

Really hope they didn't remove too many of the stages that they had last year. But they probably did.

may your hopes be realized as they've added 25 in addition to the ones that were in last year.  according to bryan nothing has been removed.. that includes the titles (non-and dlc) the moves(dlc included) and arenas

what about editing light features above the ring, what about turning on and off the ramp, what about banners like old school arena's what about the amount of slots, what about custom name plates, it looks like again non of anyone's improvement suggestions for create an arena were addressed in this creation suite livestream instead they just talked about the new filter feature and how many more templates were added and that was it which leads me to beleive that and the additional building types were all that were done, no steps customisation, no ramp on or off or other floor customisation no idea if they added anything that the community discussed at all, so yeah that is why I said they did not do enough coverage of this mode.

I have said it before and I'll say it again: Fans are always unrealistic in their expectations of what will be included each year.  The fact is really quite simply about time and 2K had less than a calendar year to put everything into one game.  It was their first inclusion in the WWE gaming series so they are still letting the former THQ guys lead the charge, which means they won't be fully caught up on the process until next year.  My opinion is that 2K have done an amazing job all factors considered and I can't wait for the release of WWE2K14.  Some will complain no matter what is included though.
