Why are you always going against people? I loved the creation suite in HCTP, it was very detailed. I would love to see a modern day version of that.

You still play wwe12 online but you telling people to let it goFirst off I don't play wwe12 period but some people use wwe12 for cc so just cause you play these games solely to play people online doesn't mean everyone else does but seriously hctp is way too outdated to compare to anything IMOHCTP is donkeys years older that WWE12. I wouldn't even consider WWE12 as old. It's just not the latest.

But the truth is, when people say "I loved that game, It's the best game ever" What they're actually saying is that they love that nostalgic feeling they get when they play it, because they associate that game with so many great memory's, or because it covers a great era in Wrestling. Seriously, if you want to play HCTP that's great. Nobody is going to stop you, but 100% of the time, you'll always come back to a current game.

What I want to see is more tag team finishers. For starters, they didn't have the 3D for the Dudleyz! I know they can't have their names or trademarks included but they could add the 3D into the game and call it something else. They also only had a few moves for the Hardy Boyz, which should have been more too. The New Age Outlaws didn't even have their custom double piledriver! Also, the Acolytes/APA didn't have their double spinebuster or double powerbomb set as finishers or even have it all. Same for Edge & Christian, they didn't have many double team moves except for the whipping sideslam into the reverse ddt combo. I can't even remember if they had their stacking superplex. Any tag team finish that has ever happened on WWE TV or on another fed under the WWE library I.E. WCW/NWA, ECW ,etc should be included for creations of tag teams. Also, the newer tag teams didn't have a real tag finisher and instead had generic regular double team moves. Lame!

The 3D was actually in the game available via DLC I downloaded the DLC content in WWE '13 on PS3 and I didn't see the 3D. Weird. I did see the "wassup?" headbutt of theirs though. I also noticed all of the single player moves with DLC like Goldberg's press slam that they gave to Ryback. And the Lionsault. Never seen the 3D though, wish my PS3 hadn't gotten fried by lightning! I would go back and make sure I didn't overlook it. So that's why I have it on Xbox 360 now.

I didn't play WWE '13 every day so it is possible I just overlooked the 3D as I was mostly giving the singles guys their moves individually.  I called myself looking for the tag moves but didn't see it.  After my PS3 got fried, I didn't buy the DLC again on 360 because of having to pay for Xbox gold membership.  Which sucks because PSN was free!

Yeah I know luckily brienj's caw editor allowed you to select a Minitron theme to add to the hacked trons you add but yeah there really needs to be a legit Minitron editor/creator

Not to mention the ps3 cc side had a perfect Jericho 97-98 wcw caw lol I had wwe13 on my ps3 but after all the freezeuos us I needed the money I traded my ps3 in and got 13 on digital when the marketplace got it (I e always been kinda shandy when it comes to wwe and ps3 as the last few games have gotten more than it's share of glitches on the ps3 side) but yeah not having to pay for live is a major plus. Losing your content is a horrid way to go. I back up all my wwe stuff on my computer for that reason lol

Ps just so you know I have nothing against the ps3/Sony at all infamous and heavy rain were/Still are my favorite exclusives on ps3 along with metal gear solid 4 lol

If the Xbox 360 had all of the same features as the PS3, I'd be okay with it.  It has a few cool features and I like how the Xbox dashboard is set up but I have always been partial to the Sony products simply because I've never had problems with them.  I bought one of the first 360s when it first launched, the ones in white, and within a year it had the red ring issue.  And at that time, the cheaper model was $399 and that was only for a year's worth of play.  I have the black updated model now and it seems good but I miss all off the features that the PS3 had over the 360.  My current 360 cannot stream because it froze up a few times before and it cannot even touch the PS3's capabilities in that and there is no Blu-ray player to which I have a decent collection of!  I also didn't see a way to add the authentic wrestler music themes on 360 and it was fairly simple to update on PS3.  It is cool that you like the 360 though as I can see why some people would prefer that over the Sony products.

 

@Dan; chill bro!  As long as your topic is getting bumped and we are still talking about games, it's a win win.  Besides we could discuss call names all day and it wouldn't change which ones will be in the final version.  Maybe 2K will see this and get a few ideas for next year's game, but that is about all.  As to which ones I'd want to see for names & hometowns, any past or present names for any superstar that has ever worked for WWE.  That covers a lot of people, so that should give you an idea there.

The one time you want to really see your paint tool in action (during entrances) you get a lousy mirror effect and your hard work is nowhere to be seen. you barley even see it during matches too, making the logos on minitron feature completely useless in my opinion. we need an option to completely turn off mirrors/minitrons during entrances, displaying paint tool logos only. If they haven't noticed that the minitron thing is an issue and needs to be changed, i'd love to see what the fuck these 'updates and changes' to the creation suite are. and they better be worth it!

We're not gonna get any overhauls until 2K are really able to get their claws into the franchise and give us that scratch build we've all been waiting for. This year it says 2K on the cover but It's still a THQ designed game. Next year will be 2K's first year

True, actually. You know, I'm not really bothered by the mirror effect, but one thing that really annoys me is that "30 YoWM" minitron! It's even worse than the AE minitrons last year!

Next year will be 2K's first year Actually 2k could have had a few things to do with 14 mainly bc under thq you wouldn't have seen this many models etc in a game ever I still believe the story that Cory said about how thq failed when it came to providing them with resources to fix stuff I mean look at their patch history that's a prime example right there and I don't mean wwe13s lack of a patch. Now I think that we can safely say that 2k probably had about 45% input in this game. But like you said Titan, when 2k15 comes out that will be full blown 2k

I agree. It would also be cool if you could switch camera angles for the matches. Normal from the side or facing the audience(like how it is currently and on TV) and the Royal Rumble style where the camera is aimed at the stage. That way you could actually see it in the background while you wrestle.
