Having grown up on the original movie and being a fan of the original this new reboot looks aweful....

I don't like the black suit design they went with, it looks too much like a rubber suit and not a machine. I prefer the look at the beginning of the trailer. Overall It looks better than I expected it to be.

Well I didn't watch the older one,  so I really had no expectations for this movie, but I think it looks pretty epic!

I dont like the look of the suit that much. I remember the original quite well.. Wasnt a big fan, but always thought it was cool. I was 5 when it came out. The 1 great thing about the new 1-- SAMUEL L. JACKSON!!!

the black robocop is a feeble attempt to make this separate from the old ones. when this was first announced there was uproar but someone poited out "maybe the silverone would look too out of date in the new movie... i agreed with this in principal but argued there was maybe a half way point....

 

..after seeing the trailer, its obvious that the old style, silver robocop looks absolutely fine and they shouldnt have fucked with it!

I prefer the original trilogy, this one look awful. It's just not RoboCop, they should really never reboot RoboCop. He looks like Daft Punk in a Batman armor.

The Black RoboCop suit just looks like Metal Gear Solid Raiden's suit with Daft Punk helmet.But i still have no interest in RoboCop and I liked the Dredd reboot.

The old ones were good, this looks epic. I like remakes because the things they can do with films these days is amazing. Robocop deserves a remake because he is a noteworthy character... especially from my youth anyway. I think I can agree with most people though, the black suit looks ridiculous.

So they're going to try and top Peter Weller getting literally blown limb from limb by shotguns... with a car bomb. Yeah, because that's gripping. I really hope this film doesn't become another example of, "Just because you can use CGI, it doesn't mean you have to". I loved the first two Robocop films, and i'm hoping they don't tarnish their legacy with this film (assuming you forget those damn Samurai).
