As I have already stated before, Curtis Axel will most likely not make it to the Disc Roster just because he's Intercontinental Champion now. Like last year's WWE '13 the Champions will be the title holders at the end of Wrestlemania 29.

EX: John Cena = WWE Champion, Alberto Del Rio = World Heavyweight Champion, The Miz = Intercontinental Champion, Antonio Cesaro = United States Champion, Team Hell No! = Tag Team Champions.

I don't think so, Usually the cut off point is until the latest Wrestlemania, in our case 29. Since he didn't debut during that time he won't be in the current roster. This is why i think he will be DLC. However, I may be wrong.

Curtis Axel WILL be on disc. Possibly Day 1 DLC. If you look at the 30 years of WM roster again, you'll notice that most of the models are just edited versions of previous SvR and LOWM models. For Axel, all they need to do is retexture his WWE'12 model.

Cut off date is Extreme Rules, 2K Games is doing nothing but minor improvements in this game. They have no huge role on development yet. They let the THQ/Yukes team finish the game.

If they were able to remove Chris Benoit like in SVR 2008, i'm sure they be able to add (at least) Axel or even better with RVD

Remember I said, I may be wrong. I stand corrected. However if what Bob_Van_Dam said was true and the Cut Off Date is at Extreme Rules then Curtis Axel won't be in, Curtis Debuted the night after Extreme Rules.

I think Axel will be in and here's the reason why; THQ has said in interviews that it takes a long time to build character models from scratch and then have to edit said models until final production.  Axel was in previous WWE '12 as McGuilicutty.  So all 2K would have to do is put that model into the game and then edit the changes as they would already do with existing characters already in the betas.  Then bring that model into the final product.  And if he's not on the actual game day release disc, he will surely be DLC.  So either way, we will get our current reigning IC Champ.  Not that big of a deal really.

actually last year at the end of wm 28 the ic champion was big show yet the default ic champion was the miz because he won it on raw 1000 in july a month before the roster reveal seeing as how curtis axel won the ic title in june and the roster reveal was in august that gave them at least 4 - 5 months to make him seeing as they made darren young from scratch and they have the mcgillicutty model and moveset to use hes most likely on the default roster

True. However all the other champions were correct, also THQ screwed up a lot of things, so making "The Miz" the Intercontinental Champion was one of them. Still either Curtis Axel will be part of the Default Roster or he'll be DLC we'll just have to wait and see.

First off I doubt NXT stars will make the game at all. Those are hopes higher than God. Also From the looks of it it looks like this games wil have a decent DLC roster.
