Do you think the Superstar Threads editor is still in? What specific a

Just been getting a bit paranoid lately because with them reusing some models from LOWM, it just seems like those characters won't be editable in superstar threads since they came from before that feature was in the SVR games (as far as i remember.)

Though if it is in, it could be great, because in seeing Shawn Michaels having entrance attire that has matching colors to his wrestling attire, could mean that they're now going to let us color edit entrance attires. There are also what seems like tons of attires, so it's gonna be awesome to have plenty of choice for what attire you wanna edit instead of always re-editing the same single attire.

Or, it could be real bad and they've removed superstar threads altogether since they're putting in what seems like plenty of attires for man of the characters.

The only color swapped attires i've seen so far, are Macho Man's pink star trunks and his orange star trunks, Shawn Michaels' WWE 13 style model having the red and black striped tight and white tights, and his older model having his red chaps and white chaps.

If it still is in, and there are no restrictions (as in it'll let us edit even the models taken from LOWM) then i think that'll be awesome.

I plan on editing Hogan's red tanktop and tights attire into his all black original "Third Man" NWO attire, Undertaker's retro being given the grey gloves and boots, and Savage's WWE '12 attire (if it's in) being made to look like his MADNESS attire from WCW.

Even if they are reused models from LOWM it still would be easy for them to add superstar threads to them.

Superstar thread are just designated parts of the texture that can have the colour changed.

Some of the mods in the WWE13 modding section have had working superstar threads created by the modder.

No doubt it's still in. The real mystery is whether or not they made any improvements. It had a lot more options in 2010 but now a lot of the threads are limited. I really wish they'd add an option to set a default attire and let us edit entrance attires.

Couldnt agree more, without this the feature is fairly useless

Pretty cool that even modded stuff was able to be color edited.

Also, out of curiousity since it's so big, what's the story behind your signature image?

I actually had a dream the other night where i played GTAV and WWE 2k14 (two games i'm kind of obsessing over right now) and in it, 2K14 had extensive attire editing features, including editable entrance attires. Was so disappointed when i woke up and realized it was just a dream =[

To answer your question, yes it will be in, it would be stupid if they removed it. Hopefully they did fix some issues from last year, mainly the problem with people like Punks' threads were a lot of his attire you couldn't edit. As four concern with the LOWM models, they've been using some models for years and they have no problem with threads.

I would love 2 have alternate attires and superstar threads. BUT, that's in a perfect world.. So as long as they have improved superstar threads, I'll be happy. The way they did Punk's on 13 was freakin ridiculous! And the entrance attires as well. So, we HOPE for better, but expect the worse.

Also --- RedRooster has the greates sig everrrr!!!

The story behind my sig is this, ThreeG is the admin at www.caws.ws, a year or two ago Marcus Stephenson, a THQ employee started posting on their forums.

Shortly after Marcus arrived there was a change made to the forum rules outlawing any discussion of mods or modding. Then most of the moderators from Brienj's website XHPcreations were banned (myself included).

I must admit, I got banned because I called Status a #@&*%$ and told him to ban me but several others were banned just for associating with the guy who has done more for modding and improving WWE games than anyone.

My sig is a screenshot of ThreeG's response to a question asking why modding talk was mysteriously banned when THQ turned up at their site and then unbanned once THQ went under.

P.S. I have since been re-banned 6 times but I still have a membership there hehe, try and keep me out u cockmunchers!

I was banned from CAWs as well but you should stop with the bashing, it doesn't make Smacktalks look good and is going off topic as well. Plus having that as your sig makes you look pretty childish. Just my two cents.

OT: Of course Superstar Threads is still in. The only improvement I see happening is the ability to edit entrance attire colors.

Not really necessary to talk about that in a public thread. The least you could've done was PM'd TheYoungLiar about that instead of posting it here.

The guy asked so I told him, if Smacktalks doesnt like my sig then all they have to do is ask and I'll change it.

I don't see how having it as my sig makes me look childish, what's childish about pointing out injustice and lies?

It should return for WWE 2k14, Why would they remove  a cool feature, They aren't THQ are they? lol

I know a few heads from THQ are still working on this game but, I think their the ones who were actually passiniote about the game (Cory and Bryan).

I know 2K have taken things out of thier games in the past I believe, such as "Crew Mode" in NBA 2K but I did'nt play the one with this feature in. I've only played NBA 2K13, So I can't really say much about that mode. However I do know that it will be back for 2K14 which 2K Sports confirmed the other week.

Slightly off topic, I know... lol

Anyway's I will leave you with a link which was uploaded today, which should put your mind to rest. Hope you haven't already seen it!

its been said many times before. WWE don;t want us having too much control over how their superstars look, as such they where willing to let colours of attires be changed, but as for actually editing what they wear, its been pretty much said that that will never happen.

probably a fear of us updating superstars for any new gimmicks, making you less likely to want to buy the new game etc. its all money & reputation!

To have diferent design of an attire to chose from, like CM Punks attire from WM 29 has a different design then the ones he wore at SummersSlam 2013. And of course to be able to edit entrance attires and that you basicly should be able to change the colur of every damn detail on the attire.
