aside from the gm mode thing.. everything else is fine.. i never wanna see that [enter your swear word here] of a mode in a game ever again.. Just my personal feelings on the matter

Even tho I do like the GM mode actually, I have to agree with you. Not because the mode is bad or anything, but because:

A.It doesn't fit to todays product

B. It would be just to much having GM and Universe mode in one game.

No one forced you to play it, it's not like you didn't had exibition matches.

yeah that's exactly what happened. their official word was they felt it didn't do as well as they thought it would

well technically now is the time to have threads like these (minus the gm thing of course) cause they are already working on the next game. so if you expect to get them your ideas, you can't just wait till - say april of next year.  That would be far too late

People are always wanting to bring back irrelevant modes for no reason.  Honestly, if WWE Universe mode is done right there is absolutely no need for GM mode.  You edit matches, set rosters and shows up, and even make allies & enemies[although it glitches for me 99.9% of the time and freezes up].  If anything, my idea would be for 2K to make the system smarter.  In other words, when you set up allies/enemies they remain against each other.  I'll give you an example: I made both Harlem Heat & The Steiner Brothers teams in a long feud and when I went to the next show, a matchup appearing pitting Booker T & Scott Steiner Vs. Stevie Ray & Rick Steiner.  This should NEVER happen.  When you team people up, they should remain teamed until there is an option later to break said team up.  That's another thing missing from Universe: the ability to turn heel or face on a tag team partner/stable.  I want to see smart options fully customizable that will make next year's Universe mode more realistic and fun to use.  Of course it goes without saying that I hope they can fix all the freezing issues related to Universe mode as well.  It sucks playing through Universe and having it freeze during editing or having it freeze up for a created title match.  These are issues that 2K need to eliminate altogether because it definitely takes away from the overall experience, replay value, and fun factor.....
