Goodbye Smacktalks

1st September 2013. The day that I'm leaving Smacktalks. This place isn't what it used to be, and I'm not saying that in an offensive way. It's just a statement. When I first started I used to have so much passion for this place, and I still do but it's just a passion for what Smacktalks used to be. I've been told that I'm too strict, serious, mean (That's the latest word to describe me) etc. And I can actually understand people's opinion now because I don't see this as a place to have fun, I see it as a job. And that's why I'm a different person to who I previously used to be. If people don't think that I'm a good moderator then I can't do my job, I'm relinquishing my powers as a moderator effective immediately. If I had a choice of a replacement then I do have someone in my mind but I'll speak to the other members of staff about that. It hurts me that I won't be able to fulfill my dream of being an administrator here, but I'll check in every now and then and who knows maybe I'll rebuild myself up and be stronger and more effective than ever. I'll be giving specific people that mean a lot to me some personal PMs. And like I said, I'll check in every now and then to see how this place is doing and at some point I'll probably be back for full time so this isn't completely goodbye. But other than that, all I can say is thank you. Whether I've loved you or hated you all I can say is thank you for the greatest year and my time at Smacktalks, and sorry if I've ever acted out against you. Thank you and goodbye. If you need to contact me then you'll still be able to find me on the other forums. And if I'm aloud to show this then check out the forum I'm building which officially launches on October 29th.

I respect the fact that you didn't let your "moderator powers" get to your head, and affect how you talk to others, and myself. You just acted as yourself around most of us. I'm sure, hell I know this won't be the last time you, and I see each other as I know you're on the Hotel, hopefully you'll be a bit more active over there now, great group of guys over there. Dude, because of the amount of respect I have for you, I won't try to stop to you or persuade you to stay, because IDK what's you're feeling behind that computer screen and I respect your decisions. But, if it was anything that I did that offended you, I never really meant it, I always put or 'lol's at the end of my replies towards you because that's how we're cool, you know, I fking make fun of you and expect you to the same You're a cool dude, and I just can't believe you're going.

Thanks for all the kind words guys, it means so much. It makes me want to stay... But that's not an option for me. But I'll definitely be back at some point to see how you're all doing. And once again, thank you all for making this place home.
