Amazon have added the WWE 2K14 Signature Series Strategy Guide to their website and the description for the guide appears to confirm the return of Universe mode and King of the Ring.

The full description reads:

The second point appears to confirm the return of Universe Mode, with the new addition of tournaments being included, so in WWE 2K14 it looks like players be able to setup the likes of a King of the Ring tournament within Universe Mode.

I think that'll be for the stats, etc. that they include in the strategy guide from the WWE encyclopedia.

I quite liked it when they had the stats on the loading screens tho.

I still have the SvR 08 official guide too. But yeah this makes Universe sound even better then ever.

i liked the SVR08 loading screens taught me a lot

not surprised that 2k14 would have universe mode but the tournament part is new(hope they add cutscenes fot it )
