New Match

Retirement Match is confirmed to be in the game. If you lose the match the cutscene where Ric Flair is crying will be played replacing the superstar you choose.

Look he might be right because it same like I Quit that was in game last year. Plus there is two Retirement match in game one of Ric Flair and HBk vs Undertaker. Well I cant wait to play that because I going make sure it be fun and cool.

I would imagine that would be the case rather than it being an actual selectable match type - would have thought an abundance of sobbing retirements would really take the shine off it as a spectacle

Hopefully this IS a new matchtype, leading to a release of the losing Superstar (would be a reason to put John Cena in my Universe Mode..)

It hasn't been confimed, Not by 2K anyway. It would be pretty pointless. The stipstipulation of the match is similar to the "I quit match" Which may or may not be staying for 2K14. (But that's a diffrent topic). Considering you only need one or two cutscenes, and maybe some "in-game" commentary lines to make it more aurthentic. Then I agree with it being in story designer.

yeah cuz they won't retire anyway in exhibition mode but this is good for the universe mode(then they should make a comeback cutscene wherein the person who retired would make a surprise comeback and that would be freakin awesome!
