I bought the Topaz photoshop bundle this afternoon for Adobe Photoshop CS6 as I feel these filters are what's needed to accurately capture the look of the renders in WWE14.  With so many options I'm a littler overwhelmed but feel after playing with it for a few hours I've found a few filters that look really good and want your opinions.

Adjust:

Detail Medium WWE13

Simple Pop WWE 1

Clarity:

(Fashion)

Edgy 1 WWE13

Smooth 1 WWE14

Studio 1 WWE14

(Wedding)

Cake Table I WWE 13

(Portrait)

Portrait III or Skin Smooth & Brighten II both WWE 14

Clean:

Curly Smooth WWE14 * I like this one but I'm unsure what the Strength, Threshold and Radius should be short of default

Detail 3:

Overall Detail Strong 1 WWE13

*Smooth Collection within Detail 3: Skin Smoothing WWE14

*Stylized Detail Collection within Detail 3: Architectural Detail 1 & 2 WWE13

True I tried one pic and loved a certain filter then another and it wasn't as good.  I think I'm on the right track with these filters I wrote down and hope with everybody messing around with them we can nail the 2K look for this year :)  I love messing with photoshop.

The thing with Renders is  not all pictures are the same so there isnt a "perfect" setting.

This is true. I tend to use a mixture of filters, but Topaz isn't the be all end all. Some of the filters that come built into Photoshop are very good too, I more often than not use a mixture of Topaz and Photoshop defaults.

Also, I've never even heard of Topaz Clarity.

In the brackets of the topic title you should put Alex™. He's been making me renders for a long time and his Triple H render is in my opinion quite possibly the greatest render I've seen.

These are the options I have when I use Topaz then it opens the program depending on which one I pick and a whole new subset of filters comes up depending on if I pick (Adjust 5, Clarity, Clean, Detail 3 etc etc)

The ones under filter? (Artistic, Distort noise etc.) I'v used a few but never really liked them, so I normally just manually edit.

also i am sorry but what's the idea of attempting 2k14 style right now ? we don't even know if there will be a render importer

This.

For me, I don't make them for me to use. I have none of my CAWs using my renders. I made the renders because I wanted to see what I can do. I'll try to replicate the 2K14 style because I like to play around with photoshop, and if they come out ok, I'll release them because maybe someone will want them for whatever reason they choose.

Just like Judders, i don't uses my render for my CAWs at all. I just make renders because i like to play around with Photoshop especially when i'm boring. But for 2K14, i suggest you (if there will be a render importer) to just use the normal render with some saturation reduced. Because i can't really understand the 2K Render styles, some of them looks normal, some of them look toned, some of looks like a soft '13 style. And some of them just got noise reduced.

Who said anything about torrenting? I never do that, I'm actually being genuine here I never torrent or illegally download programs. But that's not the point here :p
