Metalmanhinnegan Posted February 9, 2004 Posted February 9, 2004 :evil Has anyone tryed to copie modles from sym and replace with ones from hctp? This would be great for hogan Quote
caseyjones Posted February 9, 2004 Posted February 9, 2004 I think the char models are put together differently but you'd have to ask someone like toki or trigin to be or sure Quote
Van Dam Posted February 9, 2004 Posted February 9, 2004 This has been discussed numerous times on this board and sadly it hasn't been done yet and they don't know if its possible Quote
Twist of Fate Posted February 9, 2004 Posted February 9, 2004 eh, IF its possible, which one of you has a dvd burner to burn an edited copy of HCTP, which of you has your ps2 chipped, so you could play it,? its not possible, and even if it is, its not right now, so maybe this topic should just fade into oblivion........ jitz Posted February 9, 2004 Posted February 9, 2004 If it's possible to change the music and movies (which it is), then it's possible to change the character models. They're made exactly the same way as SYM. My PS2 isn't chipped yet seems as I've only had my DVD burner for a short time, but when I get around to doing it I'll try it out. It really doesn't interest me though, I don't really care about playing as Hogan or Hardy. Sure Jeff rocks but hey you win some you lose some. Quote

Twist of Fate Posted February 10, 2004 Posted February 10, 2004 but Jitz, what i was saying, was that the music and movies, are already on the disc, the character models that everyone wants arent, no one ever imported music/vids from another game..... Quote
Metalmanhinnegan Posted February 23, 2004 Author Posted February 23, 2004 But still oneone should try it!!!!!!! Quote

Rob Michaels Posted February 24, 2004 Posted February 24, 2004 This has been discussed numerous times. Right now, replacing the wrestler models is ---->IMPOSSIBLE<---- We have no tool or program that can open the .PAC files so that we can even get to the models. If such a tool is made, then sure, it may be possible. But for right now, it's just not possible. Replacing the music from HCTP was possible becuase we had a tool to open the .AFS files and switch things around. So until someone with some programming skill creates a .PAC editor, we are S.O.L. And that's the bottom line.... 'Cuase we have no .PAC editor said so.... Quote
Metalmanhinnegan Posted February 28, 2004 Author Posted February 28, 2004 What if we just added the whole pac file? Therefore addind all modles from sym to hctp Quote
JKW Posted February 28, 2004 Posted February 28, 2004 If anyone adds extra files then post em up and i'll try it on my chipped PS2 Quote
DRAVEN Posted March 1, 2004 Posted March 1, 2004 You cant just copy the Pac file over as the game wouldnt accept it the file names wouldnt be the same, modle names and model skin?? I have ask countless times for someone to let me know want tools I need to start changing the models so when someone finds out let me know and I will get started...... Quote
ng2k34life Posted March 2, 2004 Posted March 2, 2004 (edited) so you could play it,? Please stop using the commas that much. he even commas the question mark... Edited March 2, 2004 by ng2k34life Quote
