Wrestlemania mode with wrestlemania 4 tournament would have been epic to me but hey this is still the best we gonna get out of this series

This is the game that I have been waiting for. I'm in my late 30s, so wrestling for me is more about nostalgia than the current product. I never thought I would see legends like Hulk Hogan, Macho Man, ultimate warrior and others in this series together. I have been waiting for this game since I started playing video games. The fact that I can re-create some of my favorite memories from wrestlemania really touches the whole reason I play these games in the first place; to feel connected with my childhood. I'll never forget sitting in my friends house and watching ultimate warrior beat Hulk Hogan in wrestlemania six. The moment felt huge to me at that age. I remember being scared for Hogan while watching wrestlemania three, cheering for Ricky steamboat and becoming a huge fan of Beefcake. Watching wrestling was a big part of my childhood and this game will reconnect me to some of the most significant moments. My 4.5 year old, who plays with my 1990 Hulk Hogan toy, can now play the matches that meant so much to me. So yeah, I really care about 30 YOWM.

Ok, sorry but your arguments are bullshit. First of all this is like the Story mode of this game, it has NOTHING to do wether Season mode or the Universe Mode is in the game or not.It's like you would say "Shit we have Attitude Era in WWE 13, but i'd rather have WWE Universe mode..."

Other than that:

 

1. Attitude Era mode was a great addition of last years game, alot of people loved it, if you did not like it, that's certainly your problem.

2. Yes, not the whole mode, but since you can actually choose between the matches you want to play after your finished (since it has a similiar structure like AE),I could see myself playing Hulk Hogan vs. Andre The Giant and some other matches over and over again. THAT'S why it's better than AE mode.

3. AE Mode, 30 YoWMM mode, two different things. Of course I would never play Billy Gunn vs Mankind again in this mode, but pretty much every match in 30 YoWMM is well chosen and I believe I will have fun in every single match of it.

4. This point makes no sense whatsoever, but i already said that above above.

5. This is just simply wrong, what did you have expected from a Story mode? "The Greates Jobber matches of all time"? That would have been more creative, but that also means we would get a whole Roster full of Jobbers.HURRAY! With this mode they managed to put all the great and upcoming Legends in this game and let us relive their greatest moments. It's just like watching a High-Quality video package, but only with the difference that you can actually PLAY those moments. Unlike in AE Mode they also seem to have added all the greatest moments outside the Ring aswell (Shawn Michaels entrance, Randy Savage celebrating with his wife) If THIS is not creative, i have no idea about creativity.

I believe that your argument is bullshit as well, because If you really wanna relive something just go watch it again.

2. Every match In AE mode had objectives, so can you explain to me why It would be so exciting to complete the same objectives over and over again?

3. I said season mode not story mode, what I liked about season mode is that you could use any superstar to do the story and you could do it and sometimes the outcomes would be different based on your choices. 

4. For example, SmackDown vs. Raw 2006 when John Cena and Rob Van Dam had an issue and you had to choose a side.

5. It DOES look better than Attitude Era mode but It still has a small replay factor.

6. I know It has NOTHING to do with Season Mode or Universe but I AM entitled to my opinon. 

7. Just because you have another opinion of this mode does not mean mine is bullshit.

8. I know it's better than AE mode, but I was just asking people's opinions.

 

 

I wasn't saying you're oppinion is bullshit, but ur arguments were. And yes, I could WATCH a HQ 30 YoWM DVD (Which actually is even moree expensive than the game) but I couldn't PLAY the matches.

 

1. If you didn't like the AE mode, that's your Problem, alot of people loved it (except for the small replay factor)

2. The Objectives aren't that hard, did you see the Objectives in the Ric Flair vs HBK match? (1.Hit two SCM 2.Hit another SCM 3.Pin for the win) I would do these regardless, it's the match on itself that I would do over and over again.

I think this game and this mode will be a whole lot better than the Attitude Era mode. Because the Attitude Era mode was only nostalgic for the people who grew up in that era. It's a fun mode to play but it's not the same for someone like me who was born in 1995. This game will be much more enjoyable for me because we can replay matches that we have actually gotten to see. Even though I'm not one of the wrestling buffs who grew up in the attitude era, I was lucky enough to grow up in the ruthless aggression era, and I've seen every Wrestlemania since Wrestlemania 20. So being able to replay those matches would be great!

Plus, with this theme opposed to the attitude era theme, we get to play as superstars and divas in THEIR peaks of their careers, not just from one specific part of it.

No, actually they're not because just like you said plenty of people say they enjoyed AE mode; a lot of people didn't enjoy it as well.

 

1. I NEVER complained, I just asked how people felt about the inclusion of it to the game.

2. Obviously, it has NOTHING to do with Season mode, I was just stating what I prefer.

3. I'm not complaining on a thread, this is MY thread, all I asked was a question; a simple yes or no with further elaboration.

4. I never stated that the objectives were hard.

5. I'm glad that YOU will enjoy doing the same mode OVER AND OVER again, but I will not.

My main issue with AE mode was the fact that wrestlers were locked to their inaccuarte ,default movesets. That made playing through the mode several times with the same wrestlers an off putting chore.

I think I'm the only one who doesn't really care about 30 years of wrestlemania mode.

 

1. It reminds me of AE mode.
2. After you finish it will you really go back and play it again?
3. AE mode was good but I can't replay with the same wrestlers over and over again

I couldn't care less about it. I will play to unlock certain characters and then won't play it again. I just really care about the roster, new gameplay and matches. But I do hope this isn't an excuse to forget certain wrestlers on the current wwe roster. wwe 13 forgot loads of people.
