It has been recently noted that Roddy Piper has tweeted about not being included in the 30YofWM mode. He has also retweeted fans replies to his tweet. I wonder if this is a legit confirmation that he isn't in the game or if it's some reverse psychology and foreshadowing to a later reveal. If he is disappointed about being left out, then surely he was willing to work with them.

Yea you're right. I mean, they are focusing on the core matches, and classic main events of Wresltemania. Hold on, let me go check what matches Piper had at Wrestlemania.

I understand he could still be in as a normal legend. I'm just curious about the direction of the tweets he as sent. He has had numerous matches at WM that didn't make the cut. However, he was the guest referee in one of the matches that is sure to be in.

I think it was the Wrestlemania 10 where he was the guest ref for the yoko vs bret match and also between bret and backlund at WM 11 if I recall.

It was Wrestlemania 10, with Bret vs Yokozuna. I would like to see his match with either Bret or Backlund in the game but that isn't going to happen. So no we can just hope for a inclusion as a normal legend in the base roster or DLC.

I was wondering why Warrior would be included but not Piper.  I am a much bigger fan of Piper's than I ever was of Warrior and I believe Piper had a bigger influence on the wrestling business overall more than Ultimate Warrior.  I can see why people like him, but I never cared for him personally.  It is kind of lame that certain people like Warrior and Hogan which had bigger conflicts with WWE and management are in when Piper still occasionally shows up at their WWE "old school RAW" shows.  Go figure.

i think the mostly of the fans that watched and lived that era knows that Warrior was greater than Piper. He had a lot of fans in the world of wrestling. Much more than Piper.

Warrior was not that big of a deal to me.  I never liked the gimmick or even the guy himself as I was more of a Hogan fan back in the 80s.  Warrior never had one single good match and all of his stuff was more WM moments than WM matches.  Roddy Piper was a big icon of the 80s and even into the 90s and he had many good matches[although not great matches] and he had "Piper's Pit".  Anything that Piper did was always better than whatever the Warrior did in my view simply because you could understand what Piper was saying and the humor in his material.  To have what I consider an overrated legend in the Warrior included in 30 years of WM mode and not Piper is a travesty to me and I hope 2K can change that before the game is out.

That was the first thing I thought when I saw the trailer, which is amazing by the way. I'm thinking that the tweet is just hinting at it.

Probably like Legend. We need to wait untill 2K reveal the legends roster and the DLC´s.
