delete Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 17th August 2013. I've been counting down for about the past 12 days, there's been speculation about what's happening on this day. Whether it's my wedding (LOL), my 1 year anniversary, a new job, etc. But now I can confirm... that I'm leaving Smacktalks. This is my last day here. It was a really hard choice to make, but I know it was the right one. A few months after joining here I fell in love with the place, and I honestly thought I'd be here forever. But my time at Smacktalks.org is done, I'll check in from time to time. But it's time for me now to leave... home. Just kidding! It's my 1 year anniversary! 17th August 2012, that was the day I signed up here. I wasn't that active at first but then I started to get into it and like I said above. I fell in love with Smacktalks (Not Paul :P2). I've had soooo many great memories here, I remember when Audayalyafi (That was what he was called at the time) had his weird John Cena 'Rise Above Hate' avatar and signature and I used to make fun of him, I remember when I used to hate Auday because he used to make CAWs I wanted on my save but at the time he just slapped textures on :P2. I remember getting 2 of my topics pinned. I've had a lot of great memories. But my best was when I got the PM from Status asking me to be a moderator, I was so happy! And it was even better when he told me I got Moderator Of The Month last month (A big congratulations to the current moderator of the month, Codes :)2) And if you're asking my I've come a long way in a year. I remember telling brienj that he always comments sarcastic bullshit when I was pissed that the texture importer tool wasn't working (I didn't know about JTAGs back then), I remember getting really angry when I wasn't getting my way. And now I believe that I'm an esteemed moderator and general respected member who has 5630 posts and is the 12th overall poster. The only way is up for me at Smacktalks, I'm on my way to becoming a Smacktalks legend and you know why? Because I'm staying, I'm never leaving this place. Here's to 2 years, 5 years, hell 10 years!
