Beardy Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 I'm relatively new to Photoshop, and photo editing, so please cut me some slack once again. Okay, so if you've seen some of my renders in my other thread, you'll notice I have not cut out any of the backgrounds that were originally in the pic. Why you ask? Well because I don't know the easiest way to cut them out. I've tried the quick selection tool method, didn't go to well, I've tried magic eraser...garbage, I've tried just about everything you can think of, which probably isn't good for me. But anywho, I was just wondering what method some of you would suggest? I'm almost ready to just ask someone to cut out the backgrounds for me. lol Quote
HotavioH Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 The Best one (For me, of course): Part 1: Part 2: Or you use the Goo'old Polygonal Lasso Tool, select the area that you want to remove and Done. Quote

Auday Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 i don'y know what kind of background u need to cut if it was plain with no designs only colored u could use this tool how to use it ? 1-press on the background 2-it will get lined after that press delete in ur keyboard or chose the eraser and erase the background (make sure the photo is in the png format ) Quote
Beardy Posted August 15, 2013 Author Posted August 15, 2013 Like the white background behind Kurt Angle in this pic. Sometimes, the magic eraser tool will work, but sometimes, it'll erase parts of said person or things body. And yes there is a white background behind him, obviously you can't see it. lol Quote
Zark Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 This may work http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y7Yl1u7mAw0 Quote

delete Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 Tip: Most PNG files don't have backgrounds ;)2 Quote
