openurlife Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 After days of trying to get a save to work I finally got it to load up correctly until I selected one of the CAW's then the game froze.I tried it a few more times with other CAW's and the same thing kept happening. Here is what I did.... Game Saved on USB from Xbox USB into computer used Horizon to get ID of my Savedata then put the ID's into the downloaded save file. Rehashed and saved that file on my USB Opened WWE Games Editor, signed in, Loaded ID's then Saved ID's (all Savedata files and ID Save are in the editor folder) I then went to open, selected the CAW, selected the slot chose the folder and hit ok, everything went fine with no errors. The CAW's that had CAF's I would open them then went to special, and saved their CAF's. Went back selected a slot and saved them in the folder. When I was done. I went back into Party Buffalo deleted my savedata folder and then injected the new folder. Ejected the USB, put it in the Xbox, loaded game everything went through, all of the CAW's are there, I select one and then it froze. So where did I go wrong? I've followed other directions and none of them even let me load my save. This was the only way I could get it to work and get as far as I did. HELP! I'm very frustrated...... Thanks! Quote
Miztah Raza Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 Save all of each CAW's attires in the CAW mode and it shouldn't freeze anymore ;)2 Quote
openurlife Posted August 6, 2013 Author Posted August 6, 2013 (edited) Awesome, ok I'll try that Thanks! Was there a way to avoid doing this that I missed? Edited August 6, 2013 by openurlife Quote
openurlife Posted August 6, 2013 Author Posted August 6, 2013 (edited) Ok I did a couple Caws and then went to check to see if it was working, When I selected the ones I did they no longer had the rendered picture. So how do I fix that? Edited August 6, 2013 by openurlife Quote
Miztah Raza Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 Yeah, add the render again, there's a tutorial on how to inject render's in Pur3Raf3x's thread. If you want to inject your CAWs and not lose the renders or save each attire, you have to click the Lock button in CAW Editor, choose your save, then choose the CAS files you want to inject. But if you do it this way, you will not be able to make any changes to the CAW. Quote
openurlife Posted August 6, 2013 Author Posted August 6, 2013 Ok thanks guys. I'll probably just start over from scratch and make sure to click the lock button. I really appreciate the help. I'm new to doing this stuff but I really want to learn how to do this for future reference. When I do this later, hopefully all will be fine. If not I'll be back HAHA! Quote

openurlife Posted August 6, 2013 Author Posted August 6, 2013 I'm baaaaaaack....... I re-did everything and now it said file was corrupted. So it deleted the corrupted file. I went to see what got deleted and all the CAW's were there. I went to select one and again the game froze. I looked inside the game save and noticed there are Created Arenas and Encodedatenc, and paint tools files. How do I get those into my save? I'm assuming that might be the problem, cause those files aren't on my files. I downloaded Chris Spiritos ECW save if that helps. Again thanks! Quote
Miztah Raza Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 If you DL'd Chris' ECW save, all you have to do is Rehash and Resign everything with CONcept and inject into your USB via Party Buffalo, no need to inject any CAWs. Quote

Miztah Raza Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 He knows how to rehash and resign with Brienj's editor. In case you don't know how to rehash/resign with CONcept though, open it up, click open on the first window that pops up, choose a save file that you know works, and then click Save IDs. Now, go into the "Sign Multiple CON Files" tab and click open, and choose all the files from Chris' ECW save and click OK. Now click Load IDs. Then, Click Rehash/Resign all. Done. Quote
openurlife Posted August 7, 2013 Author Posted August 7, 2013 Damn! I've been driving my fiance nuts for nothing then? LOL! I downloaded Concept, cause I talked to Chris on Twitter and thats what he said he uses. I wasn't really sure how it worked and when I tried asking him he never answered me back. Oh well... Glad I got help here though. I'm going to try this right now. Quote
openurlife Posted August 7, 2013 Author Posted August 7, 2013 Ok tried that and still doesn't work. It said I needed to re-download the DLC. I tried doing it again, it said the same thing then it came up corrupted file. If I download the DLC should it work then? Just to make sure I'm doing this right : Save from USB, extract from Party Buffalo In Concept open my save, then save ids then go to sign multiple Con files, Add all of Chris' files (even savedata?, which I did, just want to make sure) Then Load Id's, Rehash Resign All Go back to Party Buffalo, delete my savedata and inject Chris' folder then load it into the game Quote
openurlife Posted August 7, 2013 Author Posted August 7, 2013 Nevermind, I tried it all over again and I finally got it to work!!!! Now I can add music without messing the files up right? Quote
openurlife Posted August 7, 2013 Author Posted August 7, 2013 One last question.... If I wanted to swap a wrestler out with another wrestler from another save how do I do that? For instance he added a new Caw to replace someone else how would I do that, and would I be able to add it to any slot besides the one he signed it to replace? Quote
Miztah Raza Posted August 8, 2013 Posted August 8, 2013 You take the CAS file of the guy you want to add, and change his slot number to the same number that belongs to the guy you want to replace. Then save the CAS file, don't rename it. Now, click on the Lock button and choose your save, then open the CAS file you just saved. The editor will do it's thing. Then move the savedata and the new CAS file back to your USB drive using Party Buffalo and overwrite if it asks you to do so :)2 Quote
openurlife Posted August 9, 2013 Author Posted August 9, 2013 (edited) If I can't just rename the file then how do I change his slot number?................Oh, wait, you mean change the slot number in BrienJ's Caw editor? Edited August 9, 2013 by openurlife Quote

Miztah Raza Posted August 9, 2013 Posted August 9, 2013 A guy posts a help thread asking because his game freezes when he selects a CAW. You pop up out of no where and ask a question that has nothing to do with his(Your game froze when you tried to play stories, what does that have to do with anything?). It was a (failed) attempt at hijacking a thread, because you wanted people to help you in another guy's help thread. If you want help, open your own thread, what's so hard about that? Quote

Not really since your problem is a totally different problem. If you would have done so already you probably would have gotten your answers. Not trying to be a jerk, just saying. Quote

Go to Editor, open CAS and change slot number and save him in the Savedata folder or anywhere? I saved it in the folder the CAS was in (in a seperate folder) Then I clicked the lock button and it just changed the picture to open, I clicked it again and it asked me to save it so I saved it in the Savedata folder and overwrote the slot I wanted to use. I opened the new file I saved but nothing happened so I wasn't really sure what to do I figured that was it. Am I suppose to go through the whole thing in concept again with saving the ids, then save it back to the USB? Thats what I did but again I wasn't really sure cause if the new CAS doesn't have the Id's I figured it wouldn't work. Quote
