Goldberg in WWE 2K14?!?!?

Why would he be in? I think the only reason for him to be included is either we'll have a mode where Goldberg and ABA Taker will be in OR they'll have some kind of Attitude Era mode but with WCW instead, which would be cool btw.

2k seems to be putting a lot of older wrestlers in the games, which is awesome.  I would love playing with current stars and also these older guys like Goldberg, Razor Ramon, Diesel, and Hogan.  If the rumored roster is as comprehensive as it looks, 2k14 will have the best roster ever released on a WWE game.

A few months back I mentioned a news item talking about a Goldberg DVD on the WWE release schedule and thought it might pave the way for his inclusion. With that in mind, it wouldn't be out of the question.

Goldberg did, however, confirm that he did nothing for the DVD, i.e, no bio/interview/comments or anything like that.

Good point. Did not know that. I do think he would be a major name to include though and that this year would be running the risk of having him overshadowed by the likes of Macho and Warrior. Still, I was amazed at the legends roster 2K assembled for the NBA 2K series. Maybe they're serious about spending their money to acquire the same licenses and assets to build the WWE 2K brand in a similar fashion. Let's hope so!

A friend of mine told me about the 2K guys and how they like to put a lot of the best teams/players in the NBA series and they could to do the same with the WWE games. I said not for WWE2k14 but looks like he had reason. I´m not putting my hands on fire with Goldberg but who knows.

Personally I would love to have him in WWE 2k14 cause I love playing as him in HCTP but I just really doubt it to happen. Maybe beacuse of the new Goldberg DVD but I dont see it happening. If it does happen that will be awesome

2K is famous for their NBA games and using legend teams/players.  If they use the same approach for the WWE games, we will have deeper rosters and a wider assortment of moves and superstars which makes for better games.  Of course 2K had me sold on this year's game the minute they released Macho Man screenshots and started mentioning ABA taker as well as other legends that are rumored.  Having Goldberg in the game would just be another added bonus.

To be honest, I didn't care about the Warrior being in the game.  I was more of a Hogan fan back in the 80s anyway, although it is always fun playing with Warrior in the games.  As for Goldberg, I'll believe it when 2K confirms it.  Still, it is a nice thought that he might be included.
