Mr.TaterSalad Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 (edited) You've seen Spaceballs the lunchbox, Spaceballs the t-shirt, Spaceballs the Flamethrower (kids love it) and now, hopefully, Spaceballs the create-a-wrestler. Over the next month or so I'm going to be working on characters from the hilariously iconic, Mel Brooks film Spaceballs. I'm in no rush to finish these but figure since I'm temprorairly out of work at the moment it will help me pass the time. For the babyfaces I plan on doing Lonestar, Barf, Princess Vespa, Dot Matrix and if possible Yogurt (just plain Yogurt). For the heels I am looking at doing Dark Helmet, President Skroob, Colonel Sanders, Snotty, Vinnie, Marlene and Charlene and Michael Winslow (guy who does the voices). I'll probably start with Dark Helmet, Dot Matrix and Barf first as they would seem to be the most complex and then go from there. Just an FYI that for Dark Helmet I don't believe I will be able to make the actual helmet. It will more likely be just Rick Moranis with glasses and the rest of the costume on. I will however make his costume that he wears while "combing the desert" in the movie. With a little motivation and the power of the Schwartz I hope I can find the strength to get these done. Mr.TaterSalad Posted August 1, 2013 Author Posted August 1, 2013 (edited) The first version of Dark Helmet is his him in his "Darth Vader" black costume. Again, as I said above there simply isn't a good way that I have found for doing the helmet. Though I bet the person in Spyder's avatar gives great helmet. Instead, I just went ahead and made the costume and Rick Moranis' face as best I could. The next picture here is Lord Helemt's costume when he is seen combing the desert in the Sans of Vega in search of Princess Vespa. Again, there is no helmet for this one, instead I added my own touch, not used in the movie, with the addition of the safari hat. I'm not sure these are that good and I am plenty dissapointed that a Darth Vader mask and helmet are not in the game. However, I will keep going and plan on doing Barf the Mog next. Mr.TaterSalad Posted August 1, 2013 Author Posted August 1, 2013 Here is Barf the Mog, he's half man and half dog, but he's always his own best friend. Quote
Spyder78 Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 Not bad starts, would ditch the tie all together and make the designs on his torso out of design in game or PT them if you can. I know you were going for the hanging effect the tie gives. On Barf the makeup over eye is all wrong, and his goatee needs to be thinner. Quote
delete Posted August 5, 2013 Posted August 5, 2013 Moved back to WWE Creations now that you've actually posted Caws. If I was you then I would've just deleted your first post and moved the topic and pretended that you'd never moved it in the first place ;)2 Quote
HarlotEffect Posted August 5, 2013 Posted August 5, 2013 What the actual f*ck is this ?! You've never seen the awesome cult classic spaceballs. Kids know nothing about films. Quote
