My Rant After Seeing the Warrior Trailer/Gameplay

I'm amazed at all the complaining from a Warrior trailer. We know hardly anything about the game, and have seen very few images and videos from the actual game. Yet people are already complaining this much? Good grief.

Listen, I know the game is far from perfect. No one is saying that this game is perfect. But do people honestly have nothing better to do than complain about a preorder bonus's model/attire? Really? Wow, okay.

First off, his model looks fine. Sorry if I disagree with people here, but it's how I feel. It looks fine just the way it is. I don't see how anyone could complain about it. "OMGGzZZzz. HE DUZN'T HAVE HIS VEIN IN HIS UPPER LEFT ARRMMM! ARRGGHGHHGHGH."

Also, the attire. WrestleMania 6 was Ultimate Warrior's defining moment. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I can't remember a more important match in his entire career than in Toronto at WrestleMania 6. To think they wouldn't include this attire is ludacris and it's petty nitpicking at best that we're even having this discussion.

This is a preorder bonus. That's all it is. The fact that we are complaining about it amazes me. It truly does. Maybe I'm in the minority, and I'm perfectly fine with that. I have been a fan of 2K games since the early 2000's. They've handled the NBA games incredibly well. I have no doubt in my mind that the future for WWE games is brighter than ever.

Cause they can edit the models and reconvert it easily with his tools. you can´t do that casue there isn´t any tool for that.

I´m agree with you, the model is good enough. If someone don`t like it, they can create a caw. LOL

The attire, yes, his most important moment.

The vein, and al that details are not in the model, is in the textures, so that isn´t a problem with models. (I know that since I spent a lot of time modding the game)

The only problem for people is that they have the paint in the chest to create alt. attires.

Yes, for me isn´t a problem cause I´ll go to mod the Warrior since the first day but for the mostly of the people, they can´t use mods.

That model is over four years old, and it looks awful - they've had plenty of time to design a new one. What a crock. But no surprise. This whole series is pile of poo. But I'll still buy it. When there's no competition, what's the incentive for them to actually innovate and improve? Obviously none. When you're the only option on the block and have a monopoly, you can do whatever you want. Here, the expense of creating a new model outweighs the benefit - very few people will decide to buy or not buy the game for this reason alone. So as long as a cost-cutting strategy does not result in significant lost sales, they'll do it. And the result is the same game year after year - just like Madden, just like Call of Duty. I'd rather see a release every other year with just DLC roster updates during the off years. But that's basically what they do now anyways, except they repackage these roster updates every year for $60.00.

And even though WWE 13's Attitude Era mode was pretty cool from a nostalgic standpoint, it was pretty sloppy - the audio was awful, animations were clunky, cutscenes were awkward. And the models were just gawd awful - especially their faces. There was no resemblance at all. The whole thing was a money grab and we fell for it. And we'll fall for it again as long as we keep buying this junk.

Sorry pal, but I'm gonna have to go ahead and call you an idiot. Did you SERIOUSLY expect anything SUPER decent? They JUST got the fucking license, they currently have a little over 3 months to finish it up; It's probably ONLY going to be WWE '13 with a few changes. They don't have the TIME to do anything new, so stop fucking hating on it, because you know, and I know, you're gonna buy it, and then you're gonna play it, and then you're gonna say "Oh, it's not as bad as I thought," because that's what happens EVERY year; some guy like you has higher-than-thou opinions about the game, saying it'll be shit, and then it's not. So shut it, please. Just sit back and wait patiently for the game to come out; THEN you can bitch about it along with us if it actually Is a shitty game, which it won't be, because WWE Games have actually been pretty awesome since WWE '12.

On an unrelated note, if nothing else, they better put The Shield in the game, and they better fix that Epic Setting 1-count bug. I'd like to see some near falls without cancelling in a WWE Championship Match at WrestleMania, 2K.

Sorry Dude, but posts like this annoy me. They're using old models so they have time actually improving the gameplay, bugs and stuff, because remember: They barely had time this year. The Warrior model might be old, but it looks solid. I'm actually interested in the gameplay and characters that are in the game, not about how old the models are...

No, you didn´t understand me. I like the Warrior, i like the model and I like the attire. Other people don´t. But will be making 3 alt attires modding the game becasue of hacking and I do alt. attires for the wrestlers I like.

I can get 4 attires for each in-game wrestler.
