Tamer™ Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 I think this being 2K's first go at this franchise they should bring back season mode and general manager mode. The reason being is because season mode for SVR 06 and SVR 07 added a lot of playback value with the storylines , the ability to choose any superstar and the ability to customize your locker room . General manager can also be improved by voiceovers and storyline cutscenes being added leaving the GM to eventually have to make choices concerning the rivalries . I personally think this beats the same old road to wrestlemania that always ends at wrestlemania .season mode could even start off from the beginning of your career and last 20 years with injuries , tag teams , the option to retire , midcard divisions (us and ic),managers the possibilities are endless Quote

IamCrazyPT Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 I dont think that will be a gm mode.If we think about that makes no sense, back in svr 06,07 and 08 there was a brand dividion, now, basicly, its all together Quote
best in the world Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 I never really cared for the GM mode in the older games, simply because it was too detailed and too much to maintain. I have a really short attention span so I like a fairly simple season mode with great match options, roaming ability, and branching stories that vary depending on what choices you make along your path. THQ did that with Smackdown: Just Bring It with branching stories although the options were only two or three but I'd like to see more of that with many choices that change the story course. And once you've finished your story completely, I'd like to see those choices to be factored into WWE Universe mode in which the stories can be furthered and feuds can be established based on past history of allies/enemies. Having unlimited options along with continuing stories makes the possibilities quite endless and that improves replay value because you'd always have something to do. Just a thought.... Quote
