Typical trolling crap from 2K. They are nothing more than gaming trolls who have no basic knowledge of how gaming promotion works or why it helps the overall product. THQ did a lot of things wrong but they knew how to make us buy into a game with hype. This waiting until the last second thing is beyond idiotic.

Yes, and by this point THQ would've had screens and videos galore with very few surprises left. Meaning we know what is in the game. What about that don't you get? It's one thing to be strategic and methodical with what info is released. It is quite the other to wait until the last 4 months to reveal anything at all. I am a patient guy to a point and am far from negative. Facts are facts, kid. And if it's just a "fucking game", why do you care so much? Thought so.....

I know 2K want to take a different approach and all, which is fine. I could also understand if we have anything as it relates to info or screens/videos of the actual in-game product that 2K would not want everything to be released at one time, which again is perfectly normal. What is not normal is not knowing squat about this game or whether it will be worth what the asking price is. Will I buy the game? Yes, because I have been buying WWE games ever since WWF Warzone on Play Station and I also bought just about every WCW title as well. I am a big fan of wrestling games and usually try them all. I like knowing what I am buying and by the point, THQ would have had a lot more details than just vague or cryptic non specifics. They did a bunch of things wrong but they knew how to make hype for their product. 2K could stand to learn from that, because as near as I can tell there was no E3 info either which is also very weird and unusual. WWE games are usually heavily promoted at E3 each year and 2K broke tradition simply because they can and to troll us fans of WWE games. To sum it up, they suck so far.

im kind of against knowing every little detail of the game before its out.... especially so long before its out, as by the time it does come out i almost feel like i've played the game.

i prefer the slow burn, anticipation approach, they could release the roster, but not show what the character attires or something like that etc.

this obsession with seeing and knowing everything is a curse. tv shows, movies, games etc. surprises are a GOOD thing, getting to live in the moment and find these things yourself makes life much more fun and interesting rather thatn "apparently this happens when i do this... oh look, it did...'yey'!"

THQ are out of business.

2K are now the publishers, we are still 4 months away from release. It's not too late to start promoting it, and the longer they leave it to tell us anything will only make us anticipate it more. I've not seen anything official about it, and I can tell you that I (and I'm guessing a good 90% of you) will buy the game. I do every year, without fail, regardless of features and rosters. Patience is a virtue.

Or are you just being a condescending ass? My guess is the latter. No matter what people held against THQ, whether they be out of business is not even the issue. You know you suck as a gaming company when a much smaller company that is now defunct did a better job of promotion than you. It is sad really and the fact that you get all high and mighty about it and act as if you somehow know more than anyone else about it seems to indicate your total disregard for anyone's input but your own.

Not pissy, simply appalled that a game is not being promoted when that is the norm. How do we look forward to a game with no info? What will be our favorite element to look forward to? Like I said before, I will probably buy the game anyway because I have since the older games on Playstation. All I'm saying is that we need to know what we are going to get and 2K has done a lousy job of making their fanbase aware of any news. They may well be taking the surprise approach, which is fine. But waiting this close to release date with only four months left is kind of mind boggling, just my take on it though. Funny, people say I am the impatient one but judging by responses to my prior posts others could stand to take their own advice.

Guys, it's just a game, 2K are now the leaders, we still have to get used to it.And with them being more quiet about the game, it's can also be very good, I want to be surprised playing the game, i like this even more then knowing every single fact before the game even comes out.Other than that:

2K took over very early this year, they had and still have to hurry up to get in time, because I sure know they want to make a big impact with their first Wrestling related game. But like I said, they have not much time, I guess at this point they are as far as THQ was in April last year (or something like that) so of COURSE it takes its time...
