Mr Awesome™ Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 I started watching WWE about 10 or 12 years ago and I gotta say that WWE is better back then and that I'm very glad that I didn't start watching in the PG ERA. What about you guys when did you start watching WWE??? Quote
delete Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 I started watching WWE when I was 7 or 8 which must have been about 16 years ago in 1997, that was when the Attitude Era began Quote

best in the world Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 I have always been a wrestling fan going back to the 80's when I was a kid watching Hulk Hogan during WWF's glory days. I didn't start watching WCW and WWF on a weekly basis before 1995. I was like everyone else and got really hooked during the "Monday night wars". Before that, I usually only caught weekly occasional episodes of WCW Saturday night or WWF Superstars. After the whole eruption of wrestling, I have been watching weekly ever since. I wish that today's WWE and TNA products had half the realistic edgy quality of shows and bigger than life characters. WWE specifically cannot even compare to their Attitude era product and their current product reminds me of their 80's cartoonish family programming. Not a good thing to watch and hopefully WWE will wake up and realize how much better their product was before the whole PG era. Quote

WrestlingFan24 Posted May 19, 2013 Posted May 19, 2013 Honestly , I've been watching wrestling since I was 3 so around '96 but the first storylines I actually remember watching live were with The Undertaker's Ministry and X-Pac and Kane teaming up, so real memory goes back to late '98-'99 Quote

Righteous Posted May 20, 2013 Posted May 20, 2013 (edited) Been watching wrestling since 1982 Was a kid in the Golden Era 80's... A teenager in the Attitude Era... And in my 20's for the Ruthless Aggression Era.. IMO 2day's wrestling is at an all time low.. The best 10 years of wrestling 1997-2007. Edited May 20, 2013 by Madd Righteous Quote
