datkido Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 So I've bought a jtag and I'm just waiting for the power supply to arrive since the jtag's a xenon and in my house I have an opus and 360s, neither of which have a compatible power supply so I can't use my jtag yet :(2 But here's my question, I want to transfer all my save game data over to the jtag but with a new non xbox live gamertag (for obvious reasons). Will it be as simple as copying my save game and dlc files to the pc, resign and rehash, then transferring them to the jtag? Or will there be something else else I need to do? (on a side note the jtag also came with a disc labelled 'KEEP SAFE, original nand, cpu key, dvd key' I gather this is some sort of backup disc but backup for what exactly??) ps. i know i could just wait until the power supply arrives and figure it out myself, but i'm just trying to save some time Quote
Auday Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 i cant answer about dlc thing but about ur save u can create a new profile on ur jtag console and copy the ids from ur jtagged console to the save then R&R and put on ur flash drive Quote
Trivium Posted May 15, 2013 Posted May 15, 2013 I haven't been experimenting with my Jtag in a while but I'll try to answer what I know. The DLC is not just an easy copy and paste. You will need to blank out your IDs to make it work on Jtag, but it's really easy once you do it. I still use the Yaris swap method but I'm sure there are many better options these days. Once you've corrected the DLC ID just put it in the right place in the content folder and it should be good to go. So the process is a little different from just resigning a save, but still pretty simple. The disc you got has your original NAND dump and console info. You will need this to update your Jtag to each dash update. This is something you should keep doing. For example, I haven't updated mine in a year and a half! As a result, right now I can't play games like Injustice. Yeah, I know, I should stop being lazy... Sorry I'm not very good at explaining, I'm sure others here could tell it better than I. Quote
IamCrazyPT Posted May 15, 2013 Posted May 15, 2013 Move all you saves and you new profile to an pen Then download horizon and open it. Open each of your save and reash them one by one to your new profile. Quote
