best in the world Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 Well in a real fight, I used a sleeperhold and almost knocked the other guy out. Once I used the crippler crossface and an ankle lock. In my opinion a submission is one of the most effective moves, it weakens the opponent. Damn right it does. I used a Texas cloverleaf on my cousin when I was 13 and he tapped like a little bitch. I wasn't even applying 100% pressure and torque on it. Imagine how a very strong man could cinch that in and really work you over. I was a very big Bret Hart fan back in the day, so I was amazed when I saw the "Hitman Hart; Wrestling with shadows" documentary. I had an obsession with seeing how submissions work and testing it. Other than that, I once picked my brother up in a tombstone piledriver but I didn't actually drop him. In real fight situations, the closest I've come to a wrestling move is the KO Punch I would try a sleeper hold, but you usually leave yourself open and exposed trying those moves. I'd say other submissions like armbars or sleepers could be very effective once you take down an opponent and take away their vertical base. A lot of these submissions are downright lethal and very effective if used properly. Quote

best in the world Posted June 15, 2013 Posted June 15, 2013 Back in 1998 or 1999 I saw a guy in my high school hit a Stone Cold Stunner on a chic in the hallway. I was amused because the dumbass did it wrong and it looked more like Vinnie Mac's version more than Austin's. She got up crying and the dude got suspended. Too bad he didn't do that on a Nicole Bass type of girl, he'd have gotten his ass as a hat. Quote
