question for brienj...

ok, so i'm new to these forums but i've spent the past few days reading around, and at the mo i'm considering buying a rgh kit and installing it on my old phat 360 (either that or just paying for it to be done).

The thing is I can't decide if it's worth it as the ONLY thing i would use my jtag console for, is texturing CAWs on wwe13 (i'm not that bothered about the other positives of having a jtag tbh so i just wouldn't make the most of it).

So here's my question since you seem to be the man around here for creating tools. Is it at all possible to create a tool that will allow people to edit the 00PaintTool.pt on a pc and then re import it into the game (i'm guessing this is where custom logos are found in the game), a tool that works in a similar way to your caw importer?

I know its probably not possible because i'm guessing if it was, it would've been done already, but if it is i know i'd be willing to pay for it and i'm sure other people would too!

ps. any1 else that feels qualified to answer my question please do!

I don't know what you are asking, because there already is a tool for this.

I meant a texture importer that will work on an unmodified console, does that already exist?

No, because it can't. The only way you can get modded Paint Tools onto an unmodded console it to have someone with a modded console fix the modded Paint Tools on theirs and then transfer the file back to the person with the unmodded console.

Ok cool, looks like I'm gonna hav2 go ahead n glitch my console if I want my textures then. Thanks I just wanted to confirm that a texture importer for an unmodified console was impossible b4 I went ahead.

Yeah, my program. A modded console is only needed to fix the paint tool, but can be used on any 360 after it is fixed.
