Hey Today we will Discuss The DLC Mod proplems and Solution Wich have been posted on Smacktalks Before( Sorry for bad English)

Brienj Opinions

just wait for my program to come out, then you don't have to worry about messing with arc files or anything like that

you must replace the file with a hex editor, and NOT using LeFluffie, THEN you can resign the DLC in LeFluffie after you have properly replaced it.

with my new tool, I'll add an export/import function for some of the files in DLC, like the misc.pac file, so you don't have to do it manually with a hex editor anymore

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here is some Common Solutions

theredrooster

1) Open DLC3 in Le Fluffie

2) In the Contents tab I select the menu folder and then right click the LoadHD_dlc03.pac and choose extract.

3) Give it a name and save it to my C:

4) Open the .pac in Brienj's Yuke Archiver, find the dds files I want to replace and import the ones I want.

5) Save the LoadHD_dlc03.pac that has the modded files in it.

6) In Le Fluffie I right click LoadHD_dlc03.pac and choose Replace file. I replace it with my modded LoadHD_dlc03.pac

7) In the Main Tab of Le Fluffie I hit Rebuild and wait for it to finish.

8) In the Security Tab I click "Sign for Dev LIVE" and then Fix

9) Move the DLC file back to my Xbox

Result : (For me)Fatal Crash intercepted

First of all, edit your pac file and inject the texture using brien's archiver.

Are you familiar with LeFluffie? If so, just open the DLC with LeFluffie, go to the contents tab, collapse the root folder, collapse the pac folder, collapse the ch folder, find the undertaker's pac in there, right click, select 'replace' replace with your edited taker pac. Then, go to the general tab and click 'rebuild' after that's done, click the security tab, check the 'Sign for DevLIVE' option and click 'fix'. After that, transfer the DLC file back to the xbox and it should work.

Result:(for ME) It keeps say " Damage DLC Package

You have to unlock each of the items in the DLC, as well as have it unlocked for the global profile, which is 0xFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF, so it works for all profiles on your console. Open in a hex editor, find the profile IDs, and change them all to that, then you will see a value after the profile ID, which will be like 0x00 or 0x01 or so on. The global profile ID probably says 0x00 right now, or in the case of DLC3, only the two items are unlocked, and not sure on the bits of them, so couldn't tell you the value you are seeing at the moment. What you do though, is look at the BINARY value of the unlock number, and it will be something like this 0000000000100100 which would unlock the 3rd and 6th item. You have to make sure each of the items is unlocked, so if it had 8 items, the BINARY value would be 0000000011111111. And then all eight items would be unlocked.

And then after the last profile unlock bytes, which is a long value btw, meaning it's four bytes long, there is another long value that should be 0x00000001, and is the last value to make sure is correct.

Result: ididn't try it but i'll

Thanks for You Time

You've listed my quote under common solutions, that wasnt a solution, I clearly stated that it didnt work. I was just listing my steps to see if anyone could see any errors in my method.

Nice to post this, as when I added an alt to DLC taker, I got a fatal crash. No clue why (done what Miztah did).

Its also the second time my game has completely frozen when selecting Undertaker 97-98 to play as him too. My game sure doesn't like Undertaker haha!
