Import my evtbobj ok I scroll to 2902 pach import JBP Tna title mod and I insert his pach into them I click rebuild get error but inside the pach there is a 0A00 bpe which contains the dds that rebuilds but the entire pach file wont

Ok, is his PACH made with my tool or not? If it isn't, it won't work. It has to be the same size originally.

I am pretty sure his stuff is Xbox 360, which means the PACH file is totally different from the one from your PAC file. You have to modify the shit yourself, or get one originally from the PS3 that was modified by MY tool, and ONLY my tool.

Well, I've replaced PACH files all the time, as well as rebuilt files all the time, and have NEVER got that error. Unless you are doing something very strange. That's why I said to post a video, it would be the easiest way to see what you are doing wrong.

Alright, it's just the right-click menu with the error. Use the main-menu function and you won't get the error. That's strange that the right-click menu started with that error now. I'll have to see what caused it.

I am just curious why you are even using that function in the first place though. It's not there, just to use because it is there ...

So your saying all I have to do really is just import and save?

BTW, I looked more closely at the error, and it's actually NOT an error. The right-click menu is just for the individual files, not the whole PACH file. if you want to do the whole PACH file, you use the main menu item. If you want to do the individual files, you use the right-click menu, and the only error I did, was to prevent it from doing that function when you didn't actually select one of the individual files.

I will fix it though, so people won't get that error any more.

Shouldn't do that. Not debugging it are you?

It shouldn't do that. It has to be used as intended and allowed an internet connection. It may have to connect to the internet at any time ...

Same

It's been tested and works fine for me and several other people. Like I said, use it as intended and don't try to get around any "ban" that everyone thinks there is. If all you are doing is using it to work on your PAC files and don't block it from connecting to the internet, there is ZERO reason it would shut down.

No errors on my end either, was working on something earlier & got interested in a movie, forgot I left it on and after about 2 1/2 hours it was still on.

I was working on a pac file and it closed when I clicked on the pach file.

Nothing more.

When I try to compress a pach file, I have a 'file is too big' error.

I know that I am probably doing something wrong, could use a step by step tutorial.

Update coming up, to fix the random crashes. Shouldn't have them anymore. I found out what it was.

The compressed and rebuilt file is still bigger than the original.

It's just DDS files.

If somebody succeded on editing the main menu pic (Punk), let me know.

In MnLayHD Pac it's in the EM00 Pach (591B).

I just replace 4 DDS files and it doesn't recompress to the initial size.

The DDS files are correct (same size)

So I got the message 'file is too big' error.

The initial compressed file (591B) is 591 KB (uncompressed 3657 KB), mine is 930 KB.

What are you rebuilding, and WHY? Those are advanced functions for making things fit, that's it.
