Can´t find Dlc superstars on the misc.pac

hi i have been modding and i edited grand master sexay and i wanted to add one more attire to the current one using the same method that miztah raza provided to us and is working ok (update arc files change h and def files) on ps3 of course

but know i have to change the dlc03 misc.pac but i cant find master sexay misc number which is 39

i ve been trying to search but i didn´t find anything.

You probably not looking at the right misc get the dlc3 file from your (xbox-ps3) with a usb stick

I'm actually with you on this, VR. I don't know if I'm just missing something obvious, but I've never been able to find the DLC in the COS section of the misc.pac--whether it's the later packs or even the first one which would be on the game's original misc.pac. Take Gangrel for example. His PAC number is 53--that'd translate to 35. I forget the exact hex value the COS section starts with, but it definitely doesn't start anywhere nearly that low.

Think about how the DLC alternate attires are added, like the Ministry Taker last year I think, and some others, that aren't on the game disc. Just look at how the alternate attires that are DLC have been made, that's my clue, and it doesn't involve the COS file at all ...

Take a look at the WWE12 DLC...Catalogue 2 - USRDIR\catalog002\info\catalog.dlc

At the very bottom you will see 2 alt attires for both Animal and Hawk....see if you can work out how they are added

Fired up the xbox to fix a PT, I'll FTP the DLC 02 from '12 and check this out, too. And I'll post screenshots for you lazy folk out there, lol.

Don't thank me yet it was a rough guess and may well be wrong I would have upped images but I'm at work at the moment I'm guessing adding additional attires is going to be very much like adding additional DLC... but again that's just a rough guess and since I don't have all the files with me..

True but the alt attire also appears in the Chetc.pac taking up DLC slots (which I would expect being DLC). Will have to wait for Brienj to drop another hint lol.

wait i thought it was in the catalog files? IIRC, you just:

extract the files,

then update them like you would any other pac file via x-packer

finally add them back do your dlc

rebuild with lefluffie,

followed by a security fix and you are done?

The catalog.dlc is the like a file that has info about which files are in the DLC archive and some other info, I think. The info.arcs are the arc files.

The steps you mentioned are what you need to do if you want to edit a file, yea.

Yeah, to hopefully eliminate some confusion, the DLC .arcs are also called catalog_hd/sd but don't serve the same purpose as the actual catalog file.
