JBP Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 Alright I've been working on some custom belts, and selection screen backgrounds for Universe (New WWE Title, TNA titles, and some indy titles for the shows in my area) I think they would all look great, BUUUUUUUT! as we all know we can't recompress the pac files. After a few weeks of messing with it, I feel like I'm getting much better at hex editing but I'm far from good enough to rebuild a pac file, and my writing code ability is minimum at best. With brienj unfortunately no longer modding WWE games, (Brienj is our Ric Flair..... HES A WRESTLING MODDING GOD) we really need to get together and see if we can get this thing figured out. Any little bit or steps we can take in the right direction would be great for us all, because if next year brienj doesn't come back at all, we're fucked almost lol. I know there are a lot of you here, or even on the xentax forums that are much smarter than I am, and hopefully we could all combine our knowledge and skills, and get these things recompressed so we can have a fully customized WWE game again! I know the focus has turned to renders lately for a lot of people, and don't get me wrong I enjoy a few myself, but the post about real modding have just dwindled, and I think there's a ton of real mods we should still be working on. UndertakerWLF Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 If you want to try the new screens and belts out now you could always paste the new pac file at the end of the main mac file at a valid offset and then in the headers repoint the data and update the size Quote
